Introduced in 1950, the BMW R25 was developed as the successor to the post-war R24 model. Manufactured in Munich, Germany, the R25 marked a major milestone for BMW's single-cylinder motorcycle lineup by introducing a plunger rear suspension. This upgraded frame design provided a much smoother ride compared to the rigid frame of its predecessor.

With a production run lasting until 1951 and over 23,400 units produced, the R25 earned a reputation for reliability, fuel efficiency, and solid German engineering. Its commercial success laid the groundwork for the subsequent R25/2 and R25/3 models, making the R25 series one of BMW's most iconic and best-selling single-cylinder motorcycles of the 1950s.

The Sokół 1000 (CWS M111) is one of the most iconic heavy motorcycles produced in pre-war Poland. Designed under the leadership of engineer Zygmunt Okołów at the Państwowe Zakłady Inżynierii (PZInż) works in Warsaw, mass production ran from 1933 until the outbreak of World War II in September 1939.

Engineered primarily for the Polish Army, police force, and postal services, the M111 was heavily influenced by classic American V-twin cruisers like Harley-Davidson and Indian. It was renowned for its immense durability, simple controls tailored for inexperienced riders, and an innovative flexible sidecar attachment system that provided exceptional off-road mobility. Approximately 3,400 units were produced before production came to a halt during WWII.

The Ariel Square Four was designed by legendary engineer Edward Turner in 1928.

His concept was revolutionary: arranging four cylinders in a square layout—utilizing two geared contra-rotating crankshafts—to create a smooth four-cylinder engine no wider than a standard parallel twin.

First entering production in 1931 with a 500 cc (later 600 cc) overhead-camshaft (OHC) engine, the model underwent a major redesign in 1937 with the introduction of the Model 4G.
