🆕🚨➡️ While the Porsche 997 might be seen as a relatively new car, it's actually approaching 18yrs old and has now become an official modern classic with Porsche Classic assuming responsibility.
Still looking fresh and new, even now, but at that sort of age, areas of the vehicle are showing signs of wear, and one commonly reported issue is knocking from the rear end.
Inside the rear shock top mount assembly, there is a foam isolator that compresses and degrades over time, literally turning to dust in extreme cases. Once worn, it no longer provides sufficient isolation between the shock and top mount, leading to a knocking noise, and accelerated tyre wear. The only option has been to replace the entire top mount assembly with a new one from Porsche at a cost of around £240 each, plus labour 💷💷
That is until now, as this week we are pleased to announce the release of our PFR57-830 Rear Top Mount Isolator Bush as a direct replacement for the OE foam isolator, meaning that you no longer have to buy an expensive complete mount and can just replace the problematic part 💪🏻
Made from our Yellow 70A durometer material, they offer increased durability and performance, while providing a cost-effective, fit-and-forget solution that's a worthwhile upgrade as part of any rear suspension overhaul 💛
