Anyone wanting an AMG-branded model now has a choice of either two wheels or four. AMG, the performance brand of Mercedes-Benz, is entering into a long-term, strategic partnership with ROTWILD Bikes, a world-renowned manufacturer of premium mountain and touring bikes. The first product will be the R.X45 AMG All Mountain bike. The dynamic design and fresh color scheme is inspired by the A 45 AMG "Edition 1".

Last weekend the Red Bull Ring played host to the fifth round of the ADAC GT Masters race series 2012.

In the first run, two SLS AMG GT3 customer teams achieved top ten. HEICO Motorsport gained position seven (Proczyk/Baumann). MS Racing finished on position nine (Asch/Götz) and eleven (Stoll/Dobitsch).

The Schöner Wohnen Polarweiss Team HEICO came home on position twelve (Margaritis/Arnold).

The results on Sunday’s race are almost identical. Position seven: Margaritis/Arnold, position nine: Buhk/Simonsen (HEICO Junior Team) and position eleven: Götz/Asch.

Currently, team MS Racing is on position three in the overall team ranking!

This year Pagani, a technical cooperation partner of Mercedes-AMG, was supported again for its 8th Pagani Gathering, which took place in the scenic region of Umbria, Italy. The Pagani owners and enthusiasts of the brand came together and experienced the magnificent countryside with an impressive selection of Pagani automobiles such as the new Huayra and the famous Zonda editions. Mercedes-AMG accompanied the high-class event with high performance cars of the AMG family for example the SLS AMG Coupé and Roadster, ML 63 AMG and the C 63 AMG Coupé. Horacio Pagani, the founder of Pagani Automobili, kicked off the gathering with a welcome speech and lunch at the Pagani factory near Modena. The convoy led by a Pagani Huayra set off south to the capital of Umbria, Perugia where the participants enjoyed the local historic landmarks and country roads.

12-10-6-2! That is the countdown of Hironori Takeuchi (J*P) and Haruki Kurosawa (J*P) in the Japanese Super GT-Championship. The drivers of the SLS AMG GT3 customer team GREEN TEC & LEON with SHIFT have been improved significantly during the season. It is the first podium. Congratulations!The 24h race of Spa-Francorchamps was as mixed as the weather for the AMG Customer Sport teams. Black Falcon's first car (Morley/Metzger/Rösler/Heyer) was the best out of four SLS AMG GT3 and finished twelfth in the class ranking (nineteenth overall). The sister car (Bleekemolen/Curtis/Jans/Cheng) retired after a turbulent race and an accident. The team of KRK-Racing stopped racing after the 190 round and numerous pit stops. They quit the race due to the big gap to the leading field. Although Preci-Spark started into a promising race - driving into top ten in the first hours together with Bernd Schneider - the team retired in round 73 after technical problems. A race weekend with less sunshine! Nonetheless, we are looking forward to the next races and like to wish all the best for our customer teams!
