North Sea Boats is a modern, dynamic, and expanding company with an international presence in Sweden, Singapore and Indonesia, specialising in building craft for military, law enforcement, and high performance applications. Our production incorporates the latest high-tech composite construction techniques, such as dual surface vacuum core resin infusion, and utilizes materials from the world’s lea

ding suppliers, such as multi-axial reinforcements from carbon fibre and Kevlar, and closed cell high-end PVC cores. They are powered by inboard diesel, transom drives and waterjets, or by OBM. Our designs include stepped-hulls for greater speed, stability and fuel efficiency, Deep Vee, and highly efficient shallow draft, semi-displacement patrol craft. Capable of producing monohull or multihull craft up to 80 m, our ongoing development programme and work with leading designers, allows us to offer leading edge and customisable solutions to meet specific client requirements.

The Pentagon’s aggressive launch of the $1 billion Drone Dominance Program (DDP) marks a historic, asymmetric pivot in American procurement philosophy, moving away from exquisite, multi-million-dollar legacy platforms to flood the military with mass-scale, attritable hardware. To secure an operational inventory of over 300,000 weaponized, one-way strike platforms by 2027, the War Department selected a highly scrutinized cohort of 25 commercial vendors—including Neros, Teal Drones, and Kratos SRE—to compete in a series of rigorous, operator-led field evaluations known as "The Gauntlets." This compressed procurement framework is designed to ruthlessly consolidate the vendor pool down to a handful of elite manufacturers capable of instantly scaling production, forcing the initial $5,000 unit cost of these First-Person View (FPV) style loitering munitions down to a highly optimized $2,300 per unit. Driven by critical lessons learned during intense regional drone saturations in Ukraine and the Middle East, this rapid mobilization has ignited a massive defense buildout centered around fast, expendable, and entirely uncrewed architectures. Consequently, the handful of publicly traded companies embedded within this industrial shift have become highly sought-after focal points for specialized defense investment portfolios, capturing a paradigm-shifting influx of military spending as modern warfare fundamentally consolidates around high-volume, low-cost autonomous precision.
