Polish rallye legend is back on track

Last year we created a special edition of the KAMM 912C, that commemorates the 1967 European Rallye Championship win (with a 912) of the polish pilot, Sobiesław Zasada.

Now, at the age of 96 he is back on a rallye in a specially prepared Porsche 911 Dakar.

"The rally I won in 1967 was one of the most important events of my life. My victory caused a sensation that reached far beyond sports; the Polish community in Argentina was overjoyed. Now I want to drive this rally as a 96‑year‑old. And who knows—maybe I’ll come back again when I’m 100,”

In 1967, aboard a Porsche 911, he beat more than 300 competitors and earned the nickname “El Polaco Volador”—“The Flying Pole”—from the Argentine people.

The people have spoken, here is the winning specification for our new RHD demo car.

Aquamarine Metallic / Burgundy

So for this month’s spec, we wanted to show it to you in full.
Aquamarine Metallic exterior, carbon fibre trim and silver-painted full-carbon steelies. Inside:
Burgundy leather, velvet red corduroy inserts, Touring seats, burgundy stitching and carpeting,
finished with black metalware.

We’re building a new right-hand-drive KAMM demo car, and your vote will help decide the spec. All three feature carbon exterior trim, full-carbon steelies and Touring seats. The rest is up to you.

1 — BREWSTER GREEN / COGNAC
Brewster Green exterior with Cognac leather upholstery, cream/black/white houndstooth inserts, matching green gauges, black carpeting and tan stitching.

An exploded view of the interior from our fan-favourite black 912T design exploration.

The interior features a black on graphite blue leather configuration, with black and blue Pascha fabric bringing a subtle bit of character to the seats and door panels.
