​We’re taking the "missing link" to the next level for ADRI legendary BMW E46 V10 build. When you're putting an S85 engine into a different chassis, "off-the-shelf" simply doesn't cut it.

Abarth 595 – Crankshaft Lightening & Dynamic Balancing

Another Abarth 595 crankshaft fully machined, weight-reduced and balanced to perfection at Elmet Performance.

We start by precisely machining counterweights on the lathe, removing unnecessary mass while keeping structural integrity.
After machining, the crankshaft goes through multi-stage dynamic balancing. Initial imbalance was over 20 gmm, and after correction we reached a final value below 0.1 gmm on both planes – true race-grade precision.

📉 Weight before: 10.3 kg
📈 Weight after: 9.8 kg
⚙️ Result: faster revving, reduced vibration, improved engine response and reliability at high RPM.
This is what proper performance engineering looks like.
