⚡️ From a student garage to the first battery, the first client, and the first real service.

You know that feeling when your first electric motorcycle actually moves under its own power?

That was my GROM beginning.

It all started 3 years ago with an idea—to convert a classic motorcycle into electric. I was still a university student at FERIT, working with minimal tools, no fancy equipment, no budget, no team—just an idea and full focus.
That first prototype didn’t just work—it sparked something.

🏆 Soon after came the first awards from innovation fairs. Then national recognition and support through startup accelerators. Then came the first real client, the first battery build, the first official EV service.

Today, GROM is growing step by step.

My name is Benjamin Kujavec, engineer, innovator, and the mind behind GROM—an initiative I started during university to convert classic vehicles into electric ones. My journey began at FERIT Osijek where I developed an electric motorcycle conversion as part of a PRO-Student project. That prototype laid the foundation for what would become the GROM system.

GROM isn’t just a service—it’s a vision combining a passion for technology, climate-conscious mobility, and innovation. During university, my projects won awards at innovation fairs and were recognized by national initiative and startup acceleration programs, including selection into Accelerator powered by HAMAG‑BICRO with support from OSA Accelerator (Poduzetnički inkubator BIOS, TERA Tehnopolis doo, Sveučilište Josipa Jurja Strossmayera u Osijeku...)
