Ford valued the Mk 1’s competition record, highlighted by the racing achievements of drivers such as Jim Clark and Sir John Whitmore. The Mk 2 was a worthy successor to the Mk 1; though slightly shorter and heavier than the Mk 1, it delivered 109 horse horsepower, matching the Mk 1’s Special Equipment specification. The Mk 2 racing versions maintained a strong competition record until the Ford Es**rt replaced them.
This Ford Cortina Lotus Mk 2 has a notable history with Colin Chapman. Ford presented it to Lotus founder Colin Chapman, reportedly as a farewell gift for his years of continuous support. Chapman reportedly used it as his daily vehicle until the late 1970s. When placed in the Lotus museum, it showed only 14,223 miles.

The second owner, Jamie Kitman of New York, an attorney and motoring journalist, acquired it from the museum in 1998. Paul Matty Sports Cars in United Kingdom, then fully recommissioned it before shipping it to the United States. In 2003, the second owner drove the Mk 2 from New York to Detroit for Ford’s 100th anniversary celebration, where it was displayed alongside John Whitmore’s racing Mk 1 Cortinas. The car showed approximately 24,700 original miles at the time. In 2014, it was shipped back to the United Kingdom and remains in exceptionally original condition. This historical Cortina Mk 2 eventually entered a Hong Kong collection, where it has been carefully stored and maintained ever since.

This Cortina, distinguished by its association with Colin Chapman, low mileage, and low number of ownerships, represents an exceptional collectible opportunity for enthusiasts. Please contact us if you are interested in this pristine Cortina Mk2, which boasts significant provenance with one of the most famous motorsport icons in the industry.

The Alpine A110 is a legendary French lightweight sports car and rally icon, known for its lightweight fiberglass body, rear-engine layout, and agility, achieving WRC success. The one presented here is a VB configuration car, the most desirable variant of the A110, as it was the lightest and most powerful street model during its long production run. The important VB specification model also served as the foundation for the "works" cars that secured the International Rally Championship for Makes in 1971. It is estimated that only around 800 VB models were ever produced between 1969 and 1972.

The Alpine A110 exemplified the marque’s dynamic engineering. It used Renault components and a lightweight glass-fiber body. Its rear-engine layout provided distinctive handling and a competitive edge on loose surfaces. The A110 1600 S VB is powered by an aluminum-block, inline-four 1,595-cc engine; factory-rated at 138 horsepower, with a top speed of 210 km/h. The model gained competitive prominence in 1973 with an updated engine unit from the R16. It brought Alpine recognition in the International Championship for Manufacturers from 1970 to 1972. At the inaugural WRC stage in Monaco in 1973, Jean-Claude Andruet led a 1-2-3 finish for the Renault-backed team, helping Alpine-Renault secure the manufacturer’s championship.

The A110 1600 S VB is the preferred choice for top competitors in rally events and collectors, and this Japan-imported example offers an incredibly rare opportunity to acquire a rally icon in such good cosmetic and mechanical condition. If you are looking for more information on this A110 in the traditional bleu alpine color, please contact us immediately.

- Hong Kong racer Kevin Tse has secured a podium finish in the penultimate round of the British GT Championship at Donington Park
- Tse and British GT debutant Chris Lulham finished second in the #18 2 Seas Motorsport Mercedes-AMG GT3
- The result comes ahead of Tse's Suzuka 1000 campaign with Craft-Bamboo Racing this weekend, before the British GT finale at Brands Hatch later this month

Hong Kong driver Kevin Tse returned to the British GT Championship podium at Donington Park at the weekend, finishing second in the penultimate round of the 2026 season.

Sharing the #18 2 Seas Motorsport Mercedes-AMG GT3 with British GT debutant Chris Lulham, Tse delivered a strong result after the pair showed front-running pace throughout the weekend.

Tse took the start of the two-hour race in wet conditions and immediately gained a place to move the #18 into the top five, before climbing to fourth soon after. After pitting for slick tires as the track dried, he rejoined in the same place, holding fourth through the next phase before handing over to Lulham at the midway point.

Another excellent stop kept the car in touch with the top three, and Lulham made his first decisive move with 22 minutes remaining, sweeping around the outside to take third. A few laps later, he fought his way into second place and held the position to the flag.

The Hong Kong racer now turns his attention to this weekend's Suzuka 1000 in Japan across September 11-13, where he will again line up with Craft-Bamboo Racing at the iconic event, looking to secure a second consecutive Pro-Am class victory.

That event will then be followed by the final round of the British GT Championship at Brands Hatch on September 26-27, where Tse – currently 6th in the title standings – will look to close out the season on a high.

The Lancia Rally 037 Stradale is a Group B homologation special, with only one of 207 Stradale examples ever built. Displaying only slightly more than 20,000 km, this well-documented example is a good candidate for vintage rallying events or display at concours d’elegance.

New FIA regulations introduced in 1980 revitalized the World Rally Championship by allowing automakers to homologate a limited number of road-going versions of their race cars. Lancia engaged Abarth to develop the 037 as a successor to the Stratos HF. The new 037 rally featured a 205 hp, 2.0-litre supercharged four-cylinder engine. A five-speed gearbox sent power from the mid-mounted motor to the rear wheels. Pininfarina built the body shell from polyester reinforced with fibreglass, and final development occurred in their wind tunnel. The legendary rally-ready 037 secured the constructors' title despite intense competition from Audi’s Quattro system. The 037 became the last rear-wheel drive World Rally Champion.

This low-mileage example was delivered new to Italy and remained there until it was sold to a collector in Monte Carlo in 2012. It was then delivered to the famous Lancia engineer brothers, the 'Baldi twins', in Turin in 2017. A full inspection and service were performed there, including the restoration and rebuilding of cosmetic and mechanical components. It was then exported to the UK in 2018 before being sold to a USA client shortly after in 2019. This pristine example was then exported to Hong Kong and has been carefully maintained and stored by the current custodian. This example includes a large history file and documents. If you are looking to add a rally legend to your collection, please get in touch with us for more information.

The F-TYPE’s debut at the 2012 Paris Motor Show marked Jaguar’s modern resurgence of the legendary E-TYPE. Its design referenced the E-TYPE, featuring roadster and coupe body styles, long hoods, short rear decks, swept-back headlights, and a cockpit-inspired interior.

The limited-edition F TYPE Project 7 was debuted at the 2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed, in the 60th anniversary year of the Jaguar D-TYPE racer that inspired its design. The Project 7 draws on Jaguar’s motorsport heritage, with its name referencing the brand’s seven victories at the 24 Hours of Le Mans; three of those wins were secured by the D-TYPE. The F-TYPE Project 7 has a maximum horsepower of 575 hp from its 5.0 liter supercharged V8 engine. Built exclusively by the Jaguar Land Rover's Special Operations team, Project 7 is still one of the fastest and most powerful Jaguars to date, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds and reaching a top speed of 300 km/h.

Production of the F-TYPE Project 7 was limited to 250 units; it is a lightweight version of the high-performance SVR model. The SVR’s all-wheel-drive system was replaced with rear-wheel drive for improved handling. The standard power-operated convertible top was replaced by a traditional snap-on rain cover. The most prominent retro styling cue is the distinctive D-TYPE-inspired ‘hump’ behind the driver’s head and the fixed rear spoiler that increases downforce at high speeds.
This Hong Kong-registered F-TYPE Project 7 offered here honors Jaguar’s heritage with its British Racing Green finish, white stripes, and racing roundels. The interior features black diamond-stitched leather upholstery. If you are looking to add a special Jaguar to your collection, please contact us for more information.
