🇬🇷 The Day Greece Said NO! 🇬🇷
On October 28, 1940, Greece stood up against fascism and refused to surrender to Italy’s demands. This historic moment, known as OXI Day, symbolizes courage, freedom, and national pride. Today, Greece remembers the heroes who fought for their country. Never forget! 🇬🇷❤️

🌊 Matala, Crete — where history meets the sea. 🇬🇷☀️

Hidden beneath the cliffs overlooking the beautiful Libyan Sea, Matala is one of those places in Crete that feels completely different from anywhere else. Its famous caves, carved into the rocks, tell stories that go back thousands of years, while the village became internationally known in the 1960s and 70s as a gathering place for the hippie community. ☮️🪨

Today, Matala combines its fascinating history with crystal-clear waters, beautiful sunsets, great food and that unique free-spirited atmosphere that makes people want to come back. 🌅❤️

If you’re exploring Crete, Matala is definitely a place worth experiencing.
