Το καλοκαίρι ξεκινά με το πρώτο επίσημο drive του MX-5 Greece Performance Club.

Την Κυριακή 21 Ιουνίου συναντιόμαστε στο Jumbo Βριλησσίων για μια απογευματινή διαδρομή στους αγαπημένους δρόμους της Πεντέλης, με στάση για φωτογραφίες και θέα στην Αθήνα.

Στη συνέχεια κατηφορίζουμε προς Νέα Μάκρη και Ραφήνα, με τελικό προορισμό το Τρολεΐ στην Αρτέμιδα, όπου θα παρκάρουμε όλοι μαζί δίπλα στη θάλασσα για καφέ, φαγητό και συζήτηση.

Δεν είναι αγώνας.
Δεν είναι κόντρα.

Είναι μια ευκαιρία να γνωριστούμε καλύτερα, να δούμε από κοντά τα αυτοκίνητα της κοινότητας και να απολαύσουμε μια όμορφη καλοκαιρινή βραδιά με ανθρώπους που μοιράζονται το ίδιο πάθος για το Mazda MX-5.

The latest evolution of our MX-5 NC 2.5 Stage 1.5 package is here.

After fitting the FAB9 intake system and refining the calibration on the dyno, we gained an additional +10HP, bringing this setup to 224HP / 267Nm.

Current setup:
• Mazda MX-5 NC 2.5 Duratec
• Stage 1.5 DMS VCT camshafts
• FAB9 intake system
• 42mm DMS headers
• Full 63.5mm exhaust system
• Custom DMS TUNED calibration

Results like these prove that every component matters. The right combination of airflow upgrades and proper ECU calibration can unlock significant gains without sacrificing drivability.

My first MazdaEdit Pro registration.

Since then, the MX-5 NC platform has been a core part of our work at DMS Tuned.

For 12 years straight, we’ve been developing, testing and tuning these cars on the stock ECU — from standard setups to more serious builds with 1.8 / 2.0 / 2.5 development, headers, camshafts, swaps , turbo , superchargers , big injectors, super massive maf setups and dyno work.

If your tuner installs a standalone on your MX-5 and DOESN’T check base timing with a timing light…

Run away.

What the ECU commands and what the engine actually sees can be completely different.
5-10° off = lost power, knock, heat, bad idle, fake dyno numbers.

Always lock timing.
Always verify mechanically.
Always sync crank/cam properly.

No base timing check = blind tuning.
