At our Upper Station, the foundations for the next chapter of the Gibraltar Cable Car are taking shape, creating the structure that will support what comes next with our partners at Grupo Casais. 🏗️

Since 1966, this station has been part of the journey to the Top of the Rock. Now, step by step, we’re building the foundations for a new one.

🚧 Getting the crane to the top is no small task! 🚠🏔️

Before the rebuilding work at our Top Station can continue, the equipment needed for the job has to get there first.

And when your construction site is at the top of the Rock, getting a crane into position means navigating some of Gibraltar’s narrowest and most challenging roads. 🚛🛣️

Check out our partners at on their journey as the crane makes its way up towards the Top Station, ready for the next stage of the Cable Car rebuild. 🔧🏗️

Our team recently carried out a site visit to check the progress of the exciting redevelopment works at both the Upper and Lower Stations. 🌟

It was fantastic to see the transformation taking shape as we move closer to delivering a refreshed experience for visitors and locals alike. From upgraded facilities to improved spaces, every detail is being carefully considered to ensure the Cable Car continues to be one of Gibraltar’s most iconic attractions. 🚠🔝

The reconstruction of the Cable Car continues, with the successful removal of the third tower marking another important step forward in the project 💪

🔴 Red Sands Revealed 🚠

As works continue on the refurbishment of our Base Station, we're uncovering some of the features that give this area its identity.

During excavation, the red sand beneath the surface has become visible, an important reminder of the history behind the name “Red Sands Road”. 🌍🔴

Our team continues to make strong progress on site as we move through the next phases of the project, bringing us closer to delivering an enhanced Cable Car experience for Gibraltar. 🚠✨

Exciting progress continues on the Gibraltar Cable Car redevelopment as another major milestone has been reached! 👏

With the excavation works now complete, construction has moved into its next phase. The foundations are being laid and structural works for the new Base Station are now well underway, bringing the project one step closer to reality. 🔨
