The Dangme people include Ada, Agotime, Krobo (Yilo Krobo & Manya Krobo), Prampram (Gbugbla), Kpone, Ningo (Nugo), Osudoku, and Shai (Sɛ). The Dangme people in Ghana are made up of 7 states: which include the ADA, KROBO(divided into YiloKrobo & Manya Krobo), PRAMPRAM(also called Gbugbla), KPONE, NINGO(also called Nugo), OSUDOKU, SHAI(also called Sɛ). We speak Dangme language but it varies slightly
depending on which part of Dangmeland you are from. You will find us in the following areas in Ghana: Eastern region, Yilo Krobo, Lower Manya Krobo, Upper Manya Krobo, Asuogyaman, Fanteakwa, East Akim, and New Juaben districts; Greater Accra region, Dangme East and West districts, southeast coast and inland; Volta region, Agortime, North Tongu.
