Chanel recently carried out a Basic Service & Safety Inspection on this vehicle…. 🚗

A basic service and inspection is about more than just changing the oil and checking the usual service items — it can also identify potential safety issues that may otherwise go unnoticed.

During a recent routine service and inspection, several significant safety-related defects were identified. Unfortunately, the condition of the vehicle meant that it was not considered roadworthy and required further repairs before it could safely return to the road.

This highlights the importance of having your vehicle regularly serviced and inspected, particularly if you are planning a long journey or intend to take your vehicle off-island.

⚠️ Planning to travel off-island? ⚠️
Please book your vehicle in well in advance.
Allow plenty of time for a thorough inspection and for any necessary repairs or parts to be sourced and fitted. Leaving it until the last minute could mean your vehicle is not ready in time for your planned trip.

Your safety — and the safety of other road users — should always come first.
