Clarkes Court Boatyard & Marina Our core business is the hauling and storing of vessels up to 242tons and or 37ft. wide with max draft of 12ft.

This is done using the most modern hauling equipment available nicknamed โ€œThe Hulkโ€ Travel Lift. The facility is based in the northwest corner of Woburn Bay, which has a well-marked channel from the open sea. The Bay itself offers a protected anchorage with minimal swell therefore almost no rolling. It is the ideal place for routine maintenance and major refit projects, with a wide mix of approved subcontractors on site offering their services.

Over the past few days, many of you expressed deep concern, hurt and frustration over the uncertainty surrounding this yearโ€™s celebration.

I heard you. I understood you. And I stood with you.
Following urgent discussions I held with the Gouyave Improvement Committee and the Royal Grenada Police Force, we have secured a way forward that allows Fishermanโ€™s Birthday 2026 to continue in a meaningful and celebratory way.
This was not about giving up on tradition. This was about fighting to protect the celebration, safeguard the people, support our vendors and businesses, and ensure that Gouyave still has its moment. The agreed updates are now outlined for the public.

Off course, this may not be everything we all wanted. But let us be clear: because the people stood up, because the Committee continued to advocate, and because we pushed for dialogue, Fishermanโ€™s Birthday will go forward!
