Harley with a little blow from the exhaust header. On closer inspection, the studs and nuts were quite corroded, and so great care was take to move them. In fact, we ground the nuts off with the dremel, as no other tool could get in there.
Header had corroded through, and was in quite a bad way - this was causing some terrific pops and bangs on the overrun! No replacement header pipes were easily / cheaply available, so an alternative method was sought.
Luckily, we know a man that can, and so we utilised Super Dave and his brazing skills to fix up this pipe - and he did a fantastic job! This was meant as a temporary fix until a new replacement can be found, but the brazed area looks good for quite some time!
Bike back together, and running much smoother now 😎🤘
