Raising money for the heroes at Scarborough and Ryedale Mountain Rescue Team.

- 1 massive caravan
- 3 bikes

- 2,300 miles
- Zero issues 👌
All equalling an epic road trip to Italy, stopping in Belgium, France, Germany and Switzerland on route.

The Disco 3 took it all in its stride, taking on 10 hour driving days, long motorway hauls and big mountain passes, in comfort and style 😎

Good vehicle preperation makes for a stress free happy holiday 👌

We've seen some horror stories over the years, but we seem to have seen quite a lot this week, here's a round of of the best horror stories from this week.

-Discovery 3 Turbo impellor ground away to nothing thanks to a stray bolt that was in the air intake hose

-Discovery 2, where someone has just cut through the chassis crossmember instead of undoing 8 bolts, just to fit an exhaust downpipe (the bolts were seized, but it still didn't take us long to remove them properly and replace the crossmember)

-Range Rover L405 with no parking brake motors at all, the worrying thing is the customer had just bought this from a garage and bought it to us for a health check. Needless to say with the list of defects we found we told him to take the car straight back to the sales pitch.

The sun sets on another day in paradise here.

There's something quite nice about working late, shutting the doors, ignoring the phone, turning the radio up and getting stuck into an interesting rebuild 👌
It reminds me why this isn't just a job, it's a passion, a way of life 💞

Only 10 minutes away from home, but a quick night out to start the school summer holidays 💞

Adventure starts when you leave the house, you don't need to be crossing countries and borders to make memories 😊

We would like to think that we love all of our customers equally, and everyone gets the same treatment. But, then one of our amazing customers walks in with this little haul for the team, and it tips the scales slightly 😉🤣

We really do love what we do, and love all of our customers, but, we also love chocolate 🫣
Ps, we also accept bribes in the form of pork pies and sausage rolls too 😉🤣

We had to barricade the workshop off today, just in case someone accidentally walked in. Trust me, it wasn't a pretty sight 🫣🤣
