Jump on board for a bumpy ride with us in the Canterbury Motorsport Bowler Tomcat, at round 2 of the Northern Off Road Club Championship.
Things were going well all day Saturday, and most of Sunday, where we were maintaining a class win, untill disaster struck on lap 8 where a track rod end fractured, meaning a track side repair had to be carried out which pushed us down to 3rd in class. Still a good result considering, and a great weekend 😎🏁
Thanks to Harry Leahy for riding shotgun, giving very precise, clear instructions on the corners, and egging me on when needed too 👌

We have a local event this weekend with the Northern Off Road Club, at Spaunton Quarry near Pickering.
Spectators are always welcome, so come along see the cars, chat to the drivers and get to see the action trackside.
Or, bring your 4x4 along and come marshal for the club, that way you get to see the action from the comfort of your own vehicle.
No experience necessary, as training and help will be given, equipment provided. You just need a 4x4, a willingness to help, and a bit of common sense 👌
Racing is Saturday afternoon, and all day Sunday.

We are looking to recruit another vehicle Technician to join the team at RCM 4x4.

We are looking for someone who can offer the following,

-Motor Vehicle Technician relevent qualifications (City and Guilds or NVQ etc)
-Land Rover experience prefered but training can be given to the right applicant.
-Be able to work on own initiative
-To be able to finish jobs to match our high standards (this is probably the most important factor)
-To be adaptable to suit the varied work that we undertake
-Have own tools and equipment
-Hold a UK driving license
-Works well within a team
-Be trustworthy and dependable
-Be willing to occasionally bring cake to work :)

This position would be perfect for a Land Rover enthusiast, as we are all passionate about what we do here and we all love the brand, and anyone with an interest in Land Rovers would fit in well with our team.

Opening hours are 8.30am till 5pm Monday to Friday, but occasional overtime, may be required to finish a job off if needed.

Excellent rates of pay for the right applicant.
