“I only had about a week until my driving test when I met Rachid, which is insanely last minute, I know! I’m normally based in London but wanted to take my test in York, and after struggling for months to find an instructor with any availability, I ended up using multiple instructors to fit in as many lessons as possible.
Rachid was one of them, and he was incredible. He was so empathetic to my situation that he even worked late to fit me into his schedule! He is a fantastic teacher who always made sure I understood everything, and if I didn’t, he’d find creative ways to explain it. He’s patient, kind, communicative, and genuinely cares about every one of his pupils. He even proudly showed me photos of previous students during our breaks!
He always gave me his full attention while driving, creating a safe and supportive environment where I could learn and build confidence. He is gentle when teaching, firm when he knows you’re capable, and incredibly encouraging. He not only made me a better driver, but a more confident person too.
Honestly, you couldn’t ask for a better instructor. I still hear his voice in my head whenever I drive, and I couldn’t have done it without his guidance. To pass with only 2 driver faults after learning with an instructor for only around 10 days is unbelievable, and says so much about the quality of his teaching.
