It has been a while since I put any pics up, here are a a few jobs I have done,
one was to make a heavier duty trailer chassis for an ice cream trailer that had collapsed and was unusable , it included the fitting of new axles whilst on the job.

Another was the making and installation of repair sections that are no longer available to buy , this included the full removal and rebuild of the suspension and beef up and stiffen the subframe to better than factory spec , I carried out a full multi coat lanoguard treatment and once dried black underbody wax for a more cosmetic appearance and to inhibit further corrosion.

A big thank you and merry Christmas to all of the customers this year .

just to let you know I am now closed for a couple of weeks for the Christmas period to spend some time with the family , i will be going completely off the radar and I won't be responding any messages or answering any calls or doing anything remotely work based until the 6th of jan .

here is a recent job an a Subaru Impreza, the owner wanted the metal work on the outer sill to be blended in to the rest of the panel it had to be partially handmade as the repair panel the customer provided didn't fit very well, there was a significant amount of filler and some prior iffy repairs hidden away under it all so I did the best with what I had .
the centre panel between the outer and inner sill had rotted away too which meant it would be unsafe to jack the car up and lost some stiffness so that was repaired too.

A big Thank you to all customers new and old near the end of another very busy year ,

As most people do I be taking 2 weeks holiday leave over Christmas to spend with family so I won’t be able to take any more bookings for this year all new bookings are from the 5th of Jan onwards .

I will still be taking calls for bookings within normal working hours 8-5 with the exception of Christmas Eve to the 27th and New Year’s Day .

here's a nice job one from this week , this newly purchased Navara had just been mot'ed and passed in Bradford and having just had all the welding done by a garage ( apparently it was really cheap !!!) this is a perfect example of why you shouldn't always go with the cheapest price.

It is well known within the motor trade that the navara's snap in half for fun so the garage in question decided it was a good idea to stick plate on and fibreglass filler over it instead of welding it all the way around ,
the cross member almost all pulled off with my bare hands , this was holding the fuel tank and exhaust on 😬 and most of the old metal repairs prized off easily

I have now made a full new beefier crossmember cut out all the bodged sections , replaced and added extra strengthening in to try and prevent any future issues
