Couple of jobs today!
Battery on a Corsa
A Peugeot for none start and a coolant leak
First step was scan the vehicle for fault codes, a few for dpf and air flow popped up so first thing we did was check that with the camera and also check soot and ash levels via diagnostic, both were fine, but doesn’t mean someone hasn’t reset them already (so always check yourself internally with a camera if you can
Having found the car had no fuel in it first thing was put some fuel in it ✅
Secondly bleed the filter to enable us to start it, however upon trying to do this heard the sound of fluid hitting the workshop floor a quick check and yep all the fuel I was putting into the filter was coming straight back out, onto the next step
Removed the fuel filter and took to the bench and checked it was leaking from the bottom of the filter ✅
Then removed the top housing and found the little seal for the bottom of the fuel filter was in half, hence our none start and fuel leak, once it’s running again will be checking for any other leaks but having had a quick look over the car I can’t see any other leaks present but best check to be sure
