🚛 WE’RE HIRING – HGV & PCV DRIVING INSTRUCTOR 🚛

Wetherby Training is growing, and we’re looking for a new Driving Instructor to join our team.

We’d ideally love someone who can teach both HGV and PCV, but PCV experience isn’t essential as full training will be given to the right person.

👇 What we’re looking for:

✅ Held an HGV licence for a minimum of 3 years
✅ Previous teaching, training or coaching experience would be preferable
✅ Professional, presentable and customer-focused
✅ Excellent communication skills and a genuine interest in helping people succeed
✅ Able to work confidently as part of a team and independently
✅ Reliable, organised and willing to learn
✅ PCV experience/licence would be a big advantage

🚦 The role:

📍 Based at Wetherby Training
🕗 Monday–Friday, 8am–4pm
📅 Very occasional Saturday may be required
💷 Salary from £33,000, depending on experience
🎓 Full instructor training can and will be provided

🌴 Holiday:

Standard annual leave to begin with, with the opportunity to accrue additional holiday entitlement over the years.

🚌 A fantastic run of results for York Pullman! 🎉

We’ve had a real flurry of new drivers from local coach company York Pullman coming through Wetherby Training recently, and we’re delighted to say that every single one has passed first time! 💯👏

A huge congratulations to all the drivers. It’s a brilliant achievement and a testament to the hard work they’ve put in throughout their training.
