Sometimes a student passing means just that bit more than usual, and it’s fair to say you’ve had to overcome some hurdles to get to this point.
But you arrived at the test centre, having removed those barriers, and only ever had the finish line in sight.

I couldn’t be more proud of your achievement today.

It was very much worth the early start, and you had to put up with quite a bit of rain, which was probably the first time on a test in yonks! ☔️

I’m so pleased you reached your goal, as there was quite some pressure, given your elders had been there first..

Thank you for all your messages.

I have spoken to a couple of instructors who have been in similar situations, and have been given some advice on how to best avoid the problems that occurred yesterday.

With this in mind, I’m going to continue to post successes, but with some modifications.
If the past issues then happen again, I’ll stop

It was very uplifting to hear how you enjoy seeing the joy on the faces of candidates, so really wanted to keep that going!

My last post celebrating a test success was hijacked with some highly inappropriate comments by people unfamiliar to me.
This then descended into a long thread, with people either attacking, or defending, those comments.
The post has now been removed

Since I don’t want to cause distress to any of my candidates, or to anyone else that might read my posts, or follows me, it is with regret that I am not going to post those successes in the future

Congratulations to Izzy Moore for passing in Farnborough earlier today!!

After a fairly quiet July (especially with the Air Show), it’s good to get back into it

Despite it being swelteringly hot (yet again..), you kept your cool, and the examiner had very little to talk about on the debrief

Having got 50 out of 50 on your theory (a rare outcome), you were determined to get a positive result this morning, and you made that happen, so well done!
