Saw this reply to a comment about a lanolin solution.

I’m nothing like as good at marketing, but the key point here is this applies to chassis guard.

The difference is that chassis guard will actually fully cure hard if applied thin, and more than that it’s 200>300% cheaper on average. Currently £42.49 for 5 liters link at bottom.

Oh- more refined I.e less blocking as well.

“They are similar products in concept as both products use lanolin as a waterproofing and sealing agent - as do a number of others on the market.

However, rather than using Naphtha or other hydro-carbon based carrier solutions, PRODUCT I.e chassis guard uses a carrier produced from renewable, commercially grown crops. We want PRODUCT I.e chassis guard to be a kind to the environment and as sustainable as possible.

When formulating the product, we also combined lanolin with a number of other natural products with rust proofing properties to improve its overall performance. One result of this is that PRODUCT I.e chassis guard does not remain tacky when applied. It will dry to from a translucent film that is waxy to the touch.

Not surprisingly we think ours is the better of the two, but I suspect both will perform admirably for you.

Well, technically it’s correct, so how do we do it…..

My carnauba, and my ceramic carnauba are both zero solvent, zero DG.

Impossible?

Have been playing with a new process this week for our ceramic quick detailer and snow foam

>Snow foam vehicle (has added anti corrosive properties I plan to enhance before release)
>wash down with water
>spray the quick detailer onto the wet vehicle (fully water based quick detailer, it doubles as a drying agent)
>allow to dry
>light buff to remove the excess cured quick detailer (buff as if it was a light polish)

Paint on this vehicle is actually very poor, so a perfect test piece.

So today was all about chemicals arriving so that I can start making new products for test.

It also means I need to source less chemicals in future to make some of the remaining products if they share any chemicals.

Baby steps, but we are up to producing 5 products now. All from scratch, in Bristol 💪

A50 prototype cleaner is now available for order.

We are still not using odourless solvent carriers to improve performance even in this aggressive cleaning product.

Compared to M50 APC which is our first cleaning product (m50 is a maintenance cleaner, not for heavily soiled vehicles), A50 is for those neglected surfaces where you want to get a good aggressive clean quickly and with minimal effort so you can crack on and finish the job.

This chair is 4 years dirty. All dirt (not paint) comes straight out.
