Looking for something to do before you collect your holiday cruiser? Or perhaps you want to let the kids burn off some energy before the long drive home?

We are very fortunate to have some wonderful family attractions just a short drive from the boatyard.

bewilderwood_norfolk is a magical, outdoor adventure park. With slides, boat trips, zip lines and family shows, there is something for everyone. The park is inspired by local author, Tom Blofeld’s stories.

🎣 Can I fish from the boat?

Yes - you absolutely can!

The Norfolk Broads follows the coarse fishing season, which runs 16 June to 14 March, and as long as you hold a valid Environment Agency rod licence, you’re welcome to fish directly from your Aldiss day boat or cruiser.

We fully welcome fishermen and tackle on board our craft. To help everything run smoothly, we just ask that you let us know when booking that you’ll be bringing fishing equipment. Some setups can be a little heavier or take extra time to load, so we may invite you to arrive slightly earlier than usual to allow for safe loading and any necessary paperwork.

Once you’re on the water, pick your spot, settle in, cast out, and enjoy the peace of the Broads - it’s one of the best places in the country for a slow, quiet day with rod in hand.
