Appreciation post for our resident driving instructor Dave Swale taking on this massive challenge we will be supporting him all way

24 hours. 1 mountain. As many summits as possible!

Starting on the 11th of July, I’m tackling the Snowdon24 challenge with a like-minded group. The goal is simple but brutal: get up and down the mountain 5 or 6 times before the clock runs out.

To put the scale of this into perspective: a single lap is a 9.5-mile round trip with around 3,000 feet of climbing. If we hit our target, we’ll cover over 47 miles and climb 15,000 feet. Hauling my 90kg+ (with kit) up and down those trails means I’ll burn upwards of 12,000 calories by the time we finish.

Sponsoring this isn't just about a one-day event. You are recognising months of solid training in all conditions. It has meant hours trudging through the rain and mud over winter, early mornings, and heavy leg sessions in the gym, just so we can physically keep moving when the fatigue kicks in at 3 AM.
