We have a Vehicle technician position available working 40 hours a week Monday to Friday. Basic salary of £39k with ote of £45k. Must be able to work in a busy workshop mostly working on BMWs and MINIs for servicing, diagnosis and repairs. Understanding of ISTA an advantage but not essential.

We are looking for a Service Department receptionist to work 16 hours a week on a Thursday and a Friday 8.30-17.30. Would suit a semi retired person or similar. Car knowledge is not essential but must have good communication skills to be able to talk with customers and suppliers. You will be responsible for taking bookings, liaising with the workshop and suppliers, sorting quotes and jobs for future and current vehicles. I have a BMW 116d M sport in Estoril Blue on 95k and going up as using it daily. It has service hsitory and 2 keys. I have just replaced the timing chains, fitted a new clutch and dual mass flywheel, carried out its second oil service, replaced the rear brake pads and discs and regassed the air conditioning. Subaru Legacy S 2.0 5 speed manual 4wd. Came in as a trade in, just put it through its MOT and that expires 6th December 2023. On 123731 miles, sports exhaust and aftermarket wheels. Could probably do with a service and timing belt as no history with the car. It does have a few scrapes and dents around it. Everything works. The MOT history goes back to Nov 2006 at 34045 miles. I am selling my 650i. It has new all new Bilstein shock absorbers, 30mm lowering springs, front and rear tyres this year, Long life cat back single rear silencer system so sounds nice but not too intrusive, comfort access, head up display but the photo doesn't show it so well, heated and electric front seats, auto headlights, sat nav, bluetooth. It was an insurance write off in 2011 which looks like it was the front end as there are no headlight washers but that didn't bother me. I purchased it off a customer last year after it came in for a service and he wanted to sell it. There are a couple of patches on the bonnet and wings that need painting. It drives well and mileage on 88k miles but this will increase. It drives very well but I have other projects that I would like to complete now. Call 01978855756. £6450 ono.
