Citreon C1 in for a new timing belt 'wet belt' replacement.

Vehicle low on mileage but due on the yearly interval.

Like the 'Fords'... very important to have these replaced when due as the timing belt sits within a timing cover submerged in the engine oil.

Lack of engine serving (oil changes) or leaving them past there interval change due dates can cause engine oil pressure issues or worse... timing belt failures causing internal engine damage.

We do these at 2 different set prices depending on what timing belt kit prefered and all special timing tools used.

Vauxhall Viva originally came in to me to inspect an engine management light illuminated on the dashboard and poor engine performance.

Engine very rattly on start up... along with camshaft and crankshaft correlation fault codes indicating a worn-out stretched timing chain.

Full timing chain kit supplied and fitted along with new engine oil and filter.

Now running spot on with no rattling noises, engine lights, and full engine performance once again.

One happy car and happy customer.

Honda Integra DC5 Type R in this week for some work.

Previously investigated due to a clonking noise when pulling away from a slow speed... this was norrowed down to a possible worn outer driveshaft cv joint.

The original clutch was old and tired with a heavy pedal, so all in one hit all this work was carried out.

Genuine rear main oil seal, genuine flywheel bolts, oem spec Exedy clutch kit including release bearing and genuine clutch folk, Honda spec gear oil, and of course that outer driveshaft cv joint.

Noise confirmed to be gone and driving great once again.

It's nice to have an old classic in every once in a while.

Especially when you realise how simple vehicles used to be like...

1973 BMW 2002tii.

Booked in with myself for a full thorough inspection and to investigate a possible coolant leak.

It is very important to have vehicles this age inspected as they no longer require a yearly vehicle inspection test (Mot)

No coolant leaks were detected visually, and with a pressure test. Only a couple of very minor advisories were picked up on the inspection.

Had the pleasure of having Josh's R53 MINI Cooper JCW in yesterday.

Had some previous work carried out to the rear end underneath before purchase, which wasn't to both of our standards...

Rear end removed to replace the rear subrame for a nice fresh powder coated one.

Rear trailing arm bushings and mountings.

'Whiteline' rear ARB polythene bushings.

HEL braided brake lines.

Rear stabilizer link arms.

Rear bumper mounting bracket.

Bolts, hardware and fixings.

Underside heat shields.

And main center to rear brake lines replaced as they had been replaced previously but looked extremely messy and all routed incorrectly...

Looking much more presentable now!

Bradley's BMW E92 M3 cabroilet in with myself yesterday.

Booked in for it's yearly Mot test which passed with flying colours.

Full service and more thorough inspection using oem quality parts and genuine BMW spec engine oil.

Both camcover gaskets replaced again using genuine parts, very common issue on S65 engine...

And lastly replaced a weak front windscreen washer motor pump along with removing and cleaning out the screen wash bottle also.

Connor bought his recent new purchase down to myself.

'Honda Integra DC5' super clean and extremely low mileage for the age of vehicle.

Clean, strip down and re-grease all brakes.

Braided clutch line with clutch fluid replaced.

And some uprated internal gear shifter bushings replaced.

Whilst in the workshop and on the ramp a full inspection carried out.

Nice to see a good example 👍🏻

It's been a long minute since my last post...

But here's something which was a bit different!

Ford Mustang import in for a large coolant leak which was dripping through the transmission tunnel, onto the floor and then over heating.

Cabin heater matrix core replaced which as you can see was a mammoth of a job, but I do occasionally like to get into a job like this and especially when it's not your everyday car.

Plus I got to sit down most the time whilst doing the job 🙃
