Just back from a fantastic tour to The Vosges and Black Forest. The weather was incredible, the roads were pothole free and the car drivers were extremely considerate and moved over to let us pass as soon as they saw us. We travelled on some awesome roads through pine forests and beautiful villages with plenty of bends to hone our skills.

BMW Warranty

We have spoken to several customers recently who are still under the impression that if your bike is covered by a BMW Motorrad warranty then any repairs or servicing MUST be carried by a BMW Main Dealer.

This is NOT CORRECT; servicing can be carried by a non-franchised workshop, if they follow the BMW Motorrad servicing guidelines, they use Genuine BMW parts and they are VAT registered. There was an amendment to EU law called a ‘Block Exemption’ which stopped vehicle main dealers insisting that all work is carried by them and any work carried by anyone else would invalidate the warranty.

We have a good working relationship with our local BMW Motorrad dealer and we have serviced many BMW motorcycles under these conditions and have not had any issues.

Please note; all warranty claims must still go through a BMW Motorrad franchise.

We would therefore invite all BMW motorcycle owners with existing BMW Motorrad warranties, in our area (South East England), to contact us for a quote for their next service.
