S O U R C I N G S A T U R D A Y S…

All singing, all dancing…ALL ELECTRIC ⚡️⚡️ ⚡️

We have just had the pleasure of supplying another of our exceptionally loyal customers with this stunning, recently launched Vauxhall model!

We got our hands on this 2026 (26 Plate) Vauxhall Frontera 83Kw Ultimate 54kWh Extended Range 5-Door with just over 2,000 miles recorded with a massive saving on the new list price!

Finished in the colour it was marketed in for its launch, Canyon Orange, this range topping model is just out of this world - we were all impressed! Being the Ultimate, it comes fully equipped with reverse camera, digital dash, front and rear sensors, heated seats, heated steering wheel and a lot, lot more let me tell you! PLUS…if you are like us and are still learning about these electric cars it is worth pointing out that this is the rarer Extended Range model - there aren’t too many of these about at all - so we were very fortunate to locate this one!

With the prices at the pumps being as they are, so many people now are thinking of making the switch to electric. Now, whilst we don’t have electric cars on the forecourt (at present, anyway) this car is a prime example that we can indeed get hold of a range of makes and models. Don’t be afraid to talk to us should you be thinking to go electric!

F R E S H S T O C K F R I D A Y…

Both of these cars have just landed with us in as part exchanges and are hot off the press - so details are rather brief at this stage!

These two cars are ones previously sold, serviced and maintained by ourselves here at Lead Hill so they are cars we know well. Both are very low mileage and in absolutely brilliant order throughout. Details as follows:

2023 (23 Plate) Ford Puma 1.0 Ecoboost Hybrid ST-Line 5-Door. Lovely looking car in Polar white in the popular ST-Line spec with only 22,516 miles recorded. Sold by us previously at only a matter of months old, and taken in against another Puma. Is that there alone testimony to how good these are? Come and look for yourself!

2021 (70 Plate) Vauxhall Crossland X 1.2 Turbo Elite Nav 5-Door. We love the Crossland here at Lead Hill and have a huge soft spot for them in this colour - Persian Blue. This is a rare 130PS model and has only covered just 20,910 miles from new…we supplied it initially with just a couple of thousand miles on the clock. Yes, yes, yes…the cambelt will be changed for the lucky new owner.

A N O T H E R O N E S O L D…

Yes, we have just had the pleasure of handing over this beautiful, low mileage 2019 (19 Plate) Vauxhall Crossland X 1.2 Turbo [110] Elite Nav Automatic to one of our very long standing customers!

The lady who has bought this car has trusted us with all of her motoring needs for OVER 30 YEARS…first as a service customer and then as a service and sales customer! Including this one, all of her previous five cars are from us…we are immensely proud that she feels that our service is worthy of returning again, and again, and again!

This customer needed a car, pronto, after her old car was written off after an accident. This Crossland was as close as she was going to get to her Ford Ecosport, and was in love with it straight away! Our team worked hard to prepare this car quickly (but carefully) to get her back on the road sharpish! Pats on the back all round!

This car left us fully serviced, with 12 months MOT test, new front tyres, new rear brakes and fully valeted, too! We fitted the all important cambelt to this car last year for the previous customer, but, we would have done that too should it have been required. We honestly do try to do everything we can to make our cars the best they can be!

This week it’s been SOLD, SOLD, SOLD all the way! But, after what seems like dozens of posts about SOLD cars…we will finally have some fresh stock arriving soon…with one (maybe two!) in time for ‘Fresh Stock Friday’ tomorrow! Stay tuned 👀 👀!

W E G E T W H A T Y O U W A N T W E D N E S D A Y

Over the past week or so we have been very, very fortunate to be very, very busy and in this purple patch we have been sourcing the cars our customers want exactly left, right and centre!

Over the past few months we have supplied some very nearly new cars, and, now here’s another! This is a 2026 (26 Plate) Ford Puma 1.0 Ecoboost Hybrid 125 ST-Line X DCT Automatic with literally just over a thousand miles on the clock.

This top spec models comes really well equipped with our customer very excited about:

✅ The electrically operated tailgate
✅ The beautiful part leather/alcantara trim with red stitching
✅ The ambient interior lighting

They were also excited about the saving on the cost of a new one - this car has come with a saving of an incredible £8,295 against the brand new list price. Would you rather have a 76 Plate, or money in the bank and still get the new car smell - we will vote for the latter!

We do have to mention this car took a couple of weeks to find - the customer wanted one as new as possible, as little miles as possible, this exact colour, this exact spec and after a little deliberation decided they wanted automatic transmission, too. We are delighted to say we have left this long standing customer (of well in excess of twenty years, may we add) grinning from ear to ear!

G O O D C A R S S E L L F A S T…

This lovely little super low mileage 2014 (14 Plate) Skoda Fabia 1.2 12v ‘S’ 5-Door truly was a one off and it has come as no surprise whatsoever that it got snapped up straight away.

You could apply all of the overused musings of the average second hand car salesman of the past for this car, including:

✅ “it’s not even run in, yet”
✅ “the back seat looks as though it’s never been sat on”
✅ “it’s in out of the box condition”
✅ “first to see will buy”

To be honest, I think the first three statements are just about true, and the fourth statement got proved to be true first thing this morning.

The customer who bought this car saw it as our ‘Too Good to Trade On Thursday’ feature on Facebook, and after viewing a few other rather average cars shall we say in this sort of price bracket, his mind was made up more or less straight away after clapping eyes on this beauty!

Now, I wonder if we can get cars like this by the transporter load…if only it was that easy!

S O U R C I N G S A T U R D A Y S…

Another absolute beauty sourced and sold by Lead Hill! This customer wanted something small-ish and something that was going to be reliable - they did their homework and came up with the idea of the Hyundai i20.

So, the next question became, can you get one within the budget already previously specified. Within a couple of days, we came up with this one!

This 2023 (73 Plate) Hyundai i20 1.0 T-GDi 48V MHEV SE Connect 5-Door was everything they wanted and then some!

This low mileage example was a one owner car from new, with a full Hyundai service record and had been kept in remarkable condition throughout. Looks the bees knees in Aurora Grey with the diamond cut alloys and spec wise, this SE Connect model came well equipped, too!

Stylish, practical size for a small car, reliable, economical and still with manufacturers warranty remaining…you could not ask for much more really.

This car becomes this particular customers’ fourth car from us and we really, really appreciate that they would be very hard pushed to go anywhere else. The repeat business means the world to us, and we can’t say THANK YOU enough!

It’s not an exciting feature this week, no pictures and no details of a fresh new arrival! But, having said that, we have got plenty (and I mean plenty) of new stock on the horizon.

We’ve had a super busy week sourcing cars to meet customers’ requirements and look forward to welcoming in and string of brilliant part exchanges along with a couple of bits we have bought along the way!

We will bring you details of them on here as soon as each one arrives…watch this space for new arrivals left, right and centre!!

T O O G O O D T O T R A D E O N T H U R S D A Y…

Oh, have we got a little beauty for you here! Little cars like this do not come around very often at all!

This 2014 (14 Plate) Skoda Fabia 1.2 12v ‘S’ 5-Door is quite possibly up there with the very best you could buy at this sort of age! Now, the car is quite basic, but it is exceptionally clean and tidy - remarkable for the year you may say and has been very well looked after by it’s one and only owner who has made the decision to end her driving days.

The car is very, very genuine which you can tell at just a glance. The car comes with a brilliant service record, too, and has just recently undergone its service and MOT for this year. Remarkably, this car has only covered 23,607 miles from new…it really doesn’t get much better!

This has all the makings of the most perfect first car or family runabout and I am sure will give great service.

G O O D C A R S S E L L F A S T…

As said, we are well over a week out with our posts - and the last car to feature in under our ‘Too Good To Trade On Thursday’ title was snapped up more or less straight away after being seen on our page.

This low mileage with full service history 2012 (62 Plate) Ford C-Max 1.6 Zetec 5-Door was purchased by one of the family members of a very loyal, long standing customer of ours who saw the car as ideal for what he wanted - the space offered by the C-Max would swallow up the tackle that he needs to carry around as a football coach.

It would be more than fair to say that this one of our cheaper cars, however, that does not mean for one minute that we skimped on the preparation…no, no, no! This vehicle left us having had a full service prior to MOT test and a good full valet. On top of this, when servicing both front suspension arms, rear brake pads, two front tyres and a rear number plate were identified as being deemed MOT advisories - so we did those, going to best possible lengths to set up this car for trouble free motoring ahead. That’s the Lead Hill Garage difference!

P.S. a little heads up, we may (emphasis on may) have another offering for ‘Too Good To Trade On Thursday’ for this week…and it’s a belter, a proper belter! Stay tuned.
