It’s the second instalment of the week for this feature…and this one’s a Toyota double header!

Some cars just don’t hang about and here are two prime examples!

Our lovely little 2021 (71 Plate) Toyota Yaris 1.5 VVT-i Design Hybrid CVT becomes the third one of its kind to be sold in recent weeks! This car goes to one of our lovely customers who has owned his current car for nineteen (yes, 19) years! We can’t give the sort of guarantee that this car will go for 19 years, but, being what it is it will have a damn good go!

The stunning 2025 (25 Plate) Toyota Aygo X 1.0 VVT-i Edge 5-Door is an example of just how quickly cars can come and go at Lead Hill. Delivered to us last Friday morning and it was sold by closing time the same day. Sometimes you have just got to be in the right place at the right time!

Really, really fast in fact. We likened this car to be as rare as an eclipse - well it came and went nearly as quick as the eclipse!!

Our little 2015 (15 Plate) Hyundai i10 1.0 Premium 5-Door in glorious condition has been snapped up.

Our customer didn’t want to miss out and was more or less on our doorstep waiting for us to open this morning.

Thank you for all other enquiries on this car and sorry that we can’t get more similar ones! Cars like this do not grow on trees!

VEHICLE NOW SOLD - THANK YOU FOR ALL ENQUIRIES!

Had to go with the apt title, today! But, yes, we don’t get cars like this often at all - it could be the time of the next eclipse when we get another like this!!

Yes, granted, there will be hundreds of similar cars for sale on the market…but how many of those garages with similar ones for sale will know their car as well as we know this one?

This 2015 (15 Plate) Hyundai i10 1.0 Premium 5-Door is not just a car plucked from an auction- that’s not what we do here, thank you! This is a car serviced and maintained by ourselves since 2021 and just taken in part exchange by us, so it’s a car we know well.

This lovely little car has covered just over 61,000 miles and has been recently serviced and MOT tested by us. The car has a wonderful service record with 11 stamps in the service booklet. Owned by our customer since 2018 and kept in lovely condition throughout.

It has the makings of a super first car or family runabout- cheap to run, cheap to insure, cheap to tax, robust and reliable and super economical, too! This one ticks a lot of boxes!

…ITS ONLY A 26 PLATE THIS TIME ROUND!

Our customer came to us on this occasion wanting a nearly new or brand new Ford Puma. Well, all we can say is why would you go brand new when we can get as good as new, like this?

Also, the saving here against the new list price was absolutely massive! We’re talking a saving of thousands…just a touch over £7,000 in fact! Crazy, eh!

This truly stunning 2026 (26 Plate) Ford Puma 1.0 Ecoboost Hybrid ST-Line X DCT Automatic has covered just over 1,000 miles since being registered in March of this year and is in out of the box condition throughout. It’s got all the bells and whistles including electric tailgate and Bang & Olufsen sound system…yes, it really is the bees knees this one!

Finished in a colour Ford name ‘Fantastic Red’ which, to be honest, is a very apt name as the car looks nothing short of fantastic wearing this paint…further set off by the diamond cut alloys, dark windows and gloss black trim here and there. Also, just look at that interior…

This again is just an example of the sort of thing we can get our hands on! We are able to source a range of popular makes and models from five years old to very nearly new like this one.

This one was a holiday-saving purchase!

Rewind to last Monday, our customer rang up with a poorly car. We took a look and confirmed that the car was indeed poorly and the repair could certainly be undertaken although this would have been an uneconomical repair and wouldn’t have been ready for this customer’s forthcoming holidays.

All options given to the customer, and they decided on the Tuesday to come down and look our selection of nice cars for sale…they liked one or two of the cars that we had but decided that this lovely 2023 (23 Plate) Renault Captur 1.6 E-Tech Techno Full Hybrid Automatic (the feature of last weeks’ Fresh Stock Friday’) had the ride height that they had become accustomed to, was comfortable and was automatic which they thought they were fancying anyway in their next car.

So, the holiday is beckoning. Did we get them on the road for Saturday? Of course we did. The car was subject to our pre-delivery process and our customer took delivery yesterday evening.

Smiles on faces. Yes. That’s all we can ask for! Here’s wishing them a good holiday and many more in the beautiful new car!

Oh, this one is a beauty! Just taken in part exchange by ourselves is this simply stunning 2021 (71 Plate) Toyota Yaris 1.5 VVT-i Design Hybrid 5-Door CVT…a car we supplied initially when it was just a few weeks old with less than 100 miles covered!

Fast forward to today and the mileage has been kept low as it approaches 18,000 miles! We have had the pleasure of servicing this car each year…so it has a full Lead Hill Garage service history!

This ‘Design’ model looks the part with the diamond cut alloys and the dark tinted glass which goes against the Galactic Blue paintwork ever so well indeed! It comes well equipped, too, with features including:

✅ Climate control
✅ Reverse camera
✅ Apply CarPlay/Android Auto
✅ Traffic speed sign recognition
✅ AM/FM/DAB Digital Radio

Plus…don’t forget that this a hybrid! A ‘full hybrid’ so it’s self charging and these are ridiculously economical - manufacturer claimed figures of up to 68.9mpg…that’s enough so that you won’t be making friends with the cashier at your local petrol station!

Small autos come at a price, we know. But, honestly, they don’t come any better than this. £14,695.

Remember this Honda Jazz from yesterday that sold super, super quick? Well we thought we’d tell you something else…

Remember that this customer was in having their current car serviced and MOT tested when they saw this beauty? This customer had a 6-7 hour round trip for that totalling 326 miles!!! Incredible, eh!

Yes, this young lady has done this for the last couple of years now since moving away from Worksop. She is just one of our long distance travelling customers…that’s commitment to Lead Hill Garage and we couldn’t be more grateful!

We like to think that we go the extra mile for our customers, but as this example demonstrates - our customers go the extra miles for us too!!

…and I think this is the quickest of the year so far!! This beautiful 2020 (69 Plate) Honda Jazz 1.3 I-VTEC SE 5-Door didn’t even make it to the forecourt! To be honest, in near perfect condition, with a full service history and only 18,575 miles covered it was never going to hang about for long! We wish we could get a transporter load of these!

On this occasion this customer had her car in for service and MOT with us on Monday and told us at some point soon she would be ready for an upgrade…she asked us what we had in and little did we know other than the Honda Jazz was high on her list of options.

This rare manual Honda Jazz had just arrived and was sat in our ‘awaiting preparation’ queue. Talk about right place, right time, eh! This car was perhaps meant to be for her so after a test drive, a few questions answered and prices agreed upon she decided that this was the one for her!

This car will now undergo work prior to handover including service as required, MOT test, 2x front tyres, alloy wheel refurbishment and a full valet so it’s like a new pin for collection a week on Monday!

A N O T H E R O N E S O L D…

…and we are very lucky to say that it’s more repeat custom!!

We supplied this customer with his last car…nearly 11 years ago!! That car we supplied all those years ago has been more than a good one…with only routine repairs, servicing and MOT’s needed in his ownership…we sincerely hope this car is just as kind to him and his family!

So you could say that today was a little bittersweet for this customer, he didn’t want to leave the old car behind (not at all) but was looking forward to the space and nippy-ness of this beautiful Skoda Karoq!
