Ever striving to keep you guys up to date with the ever changing world of driving. many new driving rules,signs and road markings, cultures, habits and distractions have appeared. i dare say the future of driving will continue to change also. therefore the way the examiner will conduct the test will continue to change too !! i will therefore do my very best to guide you to your goal of a test pass as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Well done for taking those key points of advice, including "take an opportunity, not a risk" & "don't go chasing the test, just drive the car and let the test come and find you", and all the other stuff we've chatted about over the months!!
I'm going to miss having to in the car, but remember those last pieces of advice too.... "Keep the rubber side on the floor, the tin side upwards, and keep it between the curb stones.... preferably closer to the one on the left!"

But like the examiner explained, if you make a mistake....DONT DWELL.... You can't go back and change it!!
If you dwell, you'll just snowball and more mistakes will come!!

Well done Teah....
Finally!!

For many reasons, you've not been the quickest person to acquire your full licence.... Some 2½ years on and off (one of the big reasons is the waiting time between tests) which is all the more reason to put your heart and soul into it and get it right first time!

I admire your determination, perseverance, and today.... The reward!!
In those 2½years we have done many miles in many many road situations.... It's all good experience!
There's been stress, tears, laughter and unusual circumstances (the police road block in Kidderminster at the traffic lights!).

Keep safe out there, on of the experiences you have encountered on many occasions is the quality of some drivers.

Make sure your instructor has one of these above badges displayed in there windscreen 👆🏻

This should display a photo, name and instructor number

Understanding them…
The Green badge (ADI)💚 signifies a fully qualified, registered Approved driving instructor meeting DVSA standards

The Pink badge (PDI)🩷 indicates a potential driving instructor (trainee) who is taking paid lessons but is under supervision until they have completed there qualification

One of these badges should be displayed if not politely ask if you can see it!!

Why is this important….
Legally we are allowed to be paid for lessons
The car your learning in will have proper learner insurance to cover your lessons
We are on a register and have up to date DBS checks for the pupils safety and have checks to ensure we are doing a professional job and following a code of conduct

After hearing lately some horror stories of pupils who may be experiencing the increased problem of illegal driving instructors out there just a little simple check all pupils can do to make sure they are getting taught professionally and safely as possible

If you are unsure about your driving instructor you can also check and verify them on the Gov.uk website
