Aside from motorsport we've had a bumper harvest of apples in the orchard alongside the paddock here at Shelsley Walsh following a plan that was conceived over two decades ago to remove all the old dead and struggling existing trees and replaced with fresh saplings.
Specific varieties of apple trees were planted in 2011 and 2012 and it's those tress that have bloomed, literally, too what we've had this autumn.
We're proud to not only preserve motorsport at the world's oldest motorsport venue, but also conserve the environment around the hill with the trees that our ancestors will appreciate and buildings that will be enjoyed by racers over many summers hence.
