Recently, we had the pleasure of welcoming world record endurance cyclist Sarah to Edwards Motorhomes.
Sarah's story is one of incredible determination. After overcoming a life-changing illness that once left her unable to walk, she has gone on to become one of the world's leading endurance cyclists, raising more than £100,000 for charity and breaking multiple endurance records along the way.
Her latest achievement in June, sponsored by Auto-Trail, saw her complete the incredible 6,000km ride from Tarifa, Spain, to Nordkapp, Norway, crossing nine countries, climbing over 35,000 metres, riding for up to 22 hours a day, and pushing herself to the absolute limit.
Throughout the challenge, an Auto-Trail motorhome travelled with Sarah and her support team, providing a place for the crew to work and for Sarah to rest and recover before getting back on the bike each day.
As an Auto-Trail main dealer, it was lovely to meet Sarah when she recently brought that very motorhome to Edwards Leisure for us to pass back to Auto-Trail on her behalf. Knowing that this motorhome played such an important role in her record-breaking journey makes it incredibly special, and we're proud to have played a small part in the long trip it's been on.
