At Four Ashes MOT centre we are currently looking for another MOT tester as we are extremely busy and one of our current testers will be retiring in April

You must have a full UK driving license. Hours of work will be 8.30-5.30 with the option to work overtime.
You will need to be friendly, reliable and punctual as well as being able to work alone and as part of team. We expect a high standard of work and aim for customer satisfaction.
Rates of pay dependant upon experience and qualifications.

Due to the site having to be evacuated and road closures in an emergency over the last hour we are unable to open this morning. We will update customers who are booked in and have dropped cars off for repairs later this morning to update them once we have more information of the situation. We value Customer feedback at Four Ashes MOT Centre, one of the requests was a vending machine selling snacks and cold drinks. We listened, we acted and we now have a vending machine . Customers, staff and other staff from other companies on site are already making use of it. Still lots to add. Our next purchase will be a coffee/tea vending machine as requested. Enjoy the bank holiday everyone.

So today has been 5 years since we opened Four Ashes MOT Centre. So many hours of hard work, blood, sweat and tears have gone in to building it, but it’s all been worth it. We have the best customers, a lovely team off staff and the owners, husband and wife who are both still alive and haven’t killed eachother working and living together 😂yet.

We have a job vacancy opening in the new year for a MOT Tester/Mechanic.

The hours are as follows -Monday to Friday 8.30am-5.30pm and working every other Saturday 9.30-5.30pm but a chosen day off in the week.
Overtime available

Wages are dependent on experience and can be discussed

Job description
- to carry out an Mot in accordance with the mot testers standards
- carry out safety vehicle inspections
- keeping the mot bay tidy and daily checks on tools and equipment
- be able to work as a team as well as independently
- be able to confidently communicate with Mot manager, Staff and customers
- must be reliable and approachable
- must be able to use initiative
- be able to work in a busy environment
