What might have been the successor to the Jaguar XJS (the Jaguar XJ 41/42 programme was given by Ford to Aston Martin for the DB7) and the actual successor to the XJS.

Both in for a little bit of pre season (should this incessant rain ever stop) fettling…

'Buttercup' is one of our newest additions to our private collection. This photo was taken last year at Binton social club car meet. We have since taken the hard top off so we can start enjoying some roof-down motoring. Buttercup is being brought up to tip top condition to go through an MOT. Yes I know that she's MOT exempt however we like to make sure that the cars we keep long term will run safely and minimise maintenance long term.

Just realised this Model T and the Mondeo are 100 years apart, had this Model T in for retro fitting of flashing indicators, apparently not many people remember that the hand waving out of the window in a circular fashion is the same as a left indicator…

No wonder we love classic cars here at Retro Motor Services… just doing a quick bulb change on a modern Mondeo… headlight out to get to the sidelight bulb… and then bumper half off to get the headlight out… and this is meant to be progress 🤣

Continuing the MG theme... this one is a little different in that it’s an MGC rather than a ‘B’ and also has a V8 burble 😁 (in for some brake work, always handy things to have… brakes!)
