Brace of Lucas N1 magnetos restored this week. One slack and one tight cable advance.
The benefit of slack cable advance is that if your control cable snaps while out riding the machine will still be rideable as the magneto will be in full advance position. However a lot of riders still prefer tight cable advance. Each to their own
