Do you know how to check your engine oil?

Here’s the tried-and-tested dipstick method:
-Park on level ground and wait for the engine to cool
-the dipstick (usually has a bright-coloured handle)
-Pull it out, wipe clean, reinsert fully
-Remove again and check the oil level against the markings
-Also note the oil’s color and consistency

This simple check can save you from costly engine damage. But what about newer cars?
Many modern vehicles now feature electronic oil monitoring systems without traditional dipsticks. While convenient, these automatic levels aren’t always 100% reliable.
