Dear Family, Friends, Clients, Suppliers, and Business Acquaintances. As you all know, I set up MTS back in June 2006 – 16 years ago this month. Over the years, MTS became the mistress, who I have adored and spoilt, nurtured, and developed, becoming all-consuming. Definitely to the detriment of my family, and quite possibly to the detriment of myself.
Covid-19 and the Global Pandemic, was a setback for us, but a chance to “reset”. Which we did brilliantly. We survived and came out stronger. The Team I have here now is the best I have ever had to work with, and to whom I am very grateful for their dedication and support.

This year I turn 60. Frankly, I have burnt the candle at both ends as the old saying goes, for way too many years. I need to slow down.

I have decided therefore, that the time is right for me to stand down and hand over the business to a younger man – or woman. I have looked at all the options in front of me. Should I just close the business down or look at joining forces with similar businesses? Or find a special buyer. Someone who shares my passion for this wonderfully niche business sector. Someone who cares about customer service and giving value for money. Someone who is prepared to continue looking after my wonderful Team and clients.

I could not just walk away and leave my Team to find new jobs elsewhere – even though I can say with absolute certainty they would have no problems finding new employers. I could not just walk away from you, the clients, either – many of whom I can call a friend. I needed to find Mr or Mrs Right.

And so, on 24 June 2022, I signed off on the most important deal of my working life and sold 100% of the shares of MTS to Mr Richard Boardman. Richard joins us from Cordwallis Commercials (VW) with a wealth of experience in the industry. He has asked me to stay on, which I am more than happy to do, so although I am no longer the owner of this wonderful company I will still be here – just without all the stresses and pressures!

Richard has seen the work we do. He shares my core values and passion for this. With his enthusiasm and drive he will continue to deliver the service you have all come to expect from MTS

I look forward to working with Richard and helping him continue to grow and develop this business. I hope we can rely on all of you for your continued support.

We are looking for a reliable Motor Vehicle Technician to join our team and operate from one of our mobile service units, covering the Southeast/West and London.
You will be a time served, highly motivated, motor vehicle technician with a proven track record, able to work alone or as part of a team and be able to communicate clearly and professionally with our clients. You must be keen to undertake new training and skills, and ideally trained to at least NVQ Level3.
The post attracts a starting salary of £30k per annum, (+Paid over-time as available) 28 days Annual Leave (Includes Public Holidays), 5% Company Pension Scheme, Death in Service Benefit Payment, Annual Retention Bonus (After 3 complete years of service and Annually thereafter), Mobile Phone, Service Van, Uniform.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: From £30,000.00 per year

From Kostas spotting an issue that could have had caused a serious problem if it had been left or gone unnoticed by myself .

To the fact within a week you have managed to obtain and source both parts including a part that needed to come from Sweden .
Then once had both parts arrived then arranged for them to be fitted on next working day ives like this warms the heart - Thank you "Mrs S" of Bishops Stortford ! :)
