While a lot of what Fering has done over the last 6 months has been behind closed doors. It's great to be able to now share a few insights into what the team have been working on.

As we come to the end of 2022 we can confirm that Fering will kick start next year with the build of the first customer vehicles! We are all super excited about the opportunities that 2023 has in store for the Pioneer.

But more importantly, what else would you pack into your Pioneer for your next overland adventure?

1 year on from our launch...
3 years since the business was founded...
8 years on from the initial idea for the Pioneer.....and we are just getting started!

Over the British summer, the team have been hard at work, the engineering team have been further developing and testing the Pioneer while the new business team have been on global adventures creating new contacts and exploring new potential partnerships.

Goodwood - The Festival of Speed

Each year the automotive industry bombards the Goodwood Estate to showcase their latest inventions.

is known best for its prestigious hill climb which was this year won by and the Spéirling. However, there is also a purpose-built off-road arena and the iconic Forest Rally stage.

The Fering Pioneer may not be able to match the pure speed of a supercar but we wonder how it would compare to the all-electric FIA vehicles across the off-road and Forest Rally Stage.

It may not offer 7000 km of harsh desert conditions but Goodwood is the place to showcase new state-of-the-art vehicles and the Fering Pioneer is delivering just that.

It was only a few weeks ago that the days were short and the weather was wet!

The Pioneer cruised through the winter mud and our first rounds of testing.
As the summer approaches we are now completing some further vehicle developments as we prepare for some specialist testing by end-users.

The Fering Pioneer was designed to not only take on the most extreme locations in the world but to operate and outperform the classic utility vehicles of the past.

The team at Fering understands the requirements of a Pioneer because we have been to the most extreme locations and learnt from the challenges they present.

Another week of exploration and testing is complete!

The UK is home to 15 national parks and 34 areas of outstanding natural beauty. As we continue to accumulate millage on the Fering Pioneer it would be a shame not to explore as many as possible!

This week we have been fortunate enough to have been testing in the beautiful southwest of the UK. Can anyone guess where?

We have plans to showcase the Pioneer around some of the UK's most iconic landmarks and views but where would you like to see the Pioneer next?

The March edition of the magazine is available online and contains some exciting updates on Fering and introduces a few more of the amazing team behind the Pioneer.

Another week, another test complete!

Over the last 2 weeks, we have been fortunate enough to have been testing at Millbrooks internationally recognized proving ground.

The Pioneer conquered the 35% gravel hills without a single fault before descending via a 60% decline. But today's image shows the rather more impressing crossing of the 'Mortor Holes'. A cross phased 750mm deep holes with a 4.8m pitch.

Through the start of the month, the team have been working tirelessly on several projects both on and off the vehicle.
Last week we kicked off the next phase of testing with the Pioneer completing several runs around the infamous Millbrook Proving Ground. We head back this week for some additional testing on some extreme inclines and declines.
