Renault is giving its Megane and Scenic E-Tech electric models a refresh for 2027, with more range and a number of useful updates.

The Megane E-Tech can now travel up to 306 miles* on a charge, while the Scenic E-Tech reaches up to 392 miles*. Both also benefit from updated styling, refreshed interiors and the latest version of Renault’s connected infotainment system.

For drivers, the changes are less about reinventing the cars and more about making two established EVs better suited to everyday driving, whether that means a longer commute, family journeys or business mileage.

Renault’s new Trafic E-Tech electric has been named International Van of the Year 2027. The award was decided by a 26-member jury representing 26 European countries, with the new electric Trafic receiving a unanimous vote.
It marks Renault’s sixth win in the award’s history, and 25 years after the previous Trafic took the title in 2002.

πŸ”‹ The new generation moves the Trafic to an electric-only platform, with an 800-volt electrical architecture, over-the-air software updates and a targeted range of more than 290 miles.

πŸ”‹ Charging is another area to watch. Renault says the 800V system can add up to 173 miles of range in 20 minutes, although final homologation figures are still pending.

For UK fleets, the detail that matters will come next: pricing, payload, specification, availability and how those headline figures translate into everyday work. Read the full story: https://www.drive-electric.co.uk/news/renault-trafic-e-tech-electric-named-van-of-the-year-2027/
