This is why regular oil changes are so important 👨‍🔧🛢️

This Ford came in with serious engine issues, and after stripping it down we found the oil pick-up strainer completely blocked.

The oil pick-up feeds oil around the engine — when it becomes restricted like this, oil pressure drops and vital engine components are starved of lubrication. Unfortunately for this engine, the damage was already done.

Regular servicing and oil changes help prevent sludge build-up like this and can save you from a very expensive repair bill 🚗💨

A simple oil service is always cheaper than an engine rebuild.

Nice no parts needed repair today on a VW sharan.

The customer complaint was intermittent non working front parking sensors. The parking module was scanned and we had a fault for a short to ground on the left front parking sensor.

Now it would be easy to blame the sensor and quote to fit a new one but we always like to have evidence before replacing parts so wiring was checked first and the fault was found 👍

One of the wires going to the left front sensor was touching the cars chassis leg and had rubbed through the insulation and was shorting on the body.

This was a man made fault because the bumper had been removed at some point in the vehicles life and the wiring connector not secured correctly after.

It's Friday and we had the lovely Fiat 126 bis back in for a new radiator and MOT.
