🐾 Even our four-legged colleagues know the darker evenings are here... 🌙

Whether you're walking the dog, heading out for a run or cycling home after work, take a few extra steps to stay visible as daylight fades.

✨ Wear bright or reflective clothing
🔦 Carry a torch
🚶 Use well-lit routes where possible

Drivers, please keep an eye out for pedestrians, cyclists, horse riders and dog walkers, particularly during busy commuting times.

Stay visible. Stay safe. 🍂🐕🌙

Facebook marketplace enthusiasts beware ⁉️

We’ve received reports of scammers targeting people selling high value items. They turn up at your home, agree to purchase the item and show you what looks to be a genuine bank transfer, albeit with the disclaimer it will take 24 hours to clear into your account.

The buyer seems legit and the transfer is showing as done, so you allow them to leave with the goods.

The problem is, the transfer never completes and the money never arrives.

Items taken include handbags, gold jewellery, a drone, photography equipment and even a car.

Remember...

⚠️ Never trust screenshots as proof of payment
⚠️ Never hand over any items until the money is actually showing in your account
⚠️ Be cautious of requests to refund accidental overpayments
⚠️ Be wary of fast full price offers with no questions asked
