Just trying to get a little more fuel flow to the mildly tuned Vespa PX200. Fuel tap is good, fuel line is good, tank vent is good, but at wide open throttle it suffers fuel starvation after 1/4 mile or do. Opening up the float valve might just do the trick. I'll let you know.

UPDATE - I have just taken it for a decent thrashing and it is cured. Pulls all the way and holds wide open throttle for as long as I want. Speedo cable broke , so that's the next job.

New Ural, or is it ???? OK, OK, Ural are currently promoting an "all new" "Ural" with a massive social media campaign. Nothing wrong with that, and as a life long Ural person I am getting emails asking all sorts of questions, from spec, to UK availability, to price. So I thought I better break cover. This "all new" "Ural" appears on the face of it to be a Yingang SUV500 that's been available in China for a couple of years. Visually it looks pretty much identical and the specs seem the same, although Ural claim it is modified just for them, err, maybe. Ural apparently have introduced this model to make sidecars more accessible (read affordable). to a much larger "audience than ever before". Again I applaud their sentiment even if it does ignore the millions of other sidecars that have been built by companies and individuals other than Ural all over the world. I understand there will be a left hand sidecar version, I have no idea what Ural will charge for it, I have no idea of the time scale and I have no idea if they will continue with their current/previous UK agents and supply chain or start afresh to attack the new market as they see it. I found this little video showing the Yingang from 2024 which has an awful voice over, but you do get to see the bike and sidecar.
