As a van dealership with decades of experience, we don’t price our vans off computer generated figures.

So do we actually know what price to sell a vehicle for?

There’s numbers of factors that help us to decide what price to sell a van for.

The current van market is very price sensitive. If you advertise it for a few thousand more than it’s worth it’ll sit there for months on end.

If you advertise it very sensibly then it will sell very quickly.

If you’re thinking of buying a used car or van for a reputable dealer, this may be controversial advice, but we would recommend paying the asking price and getting a good service in return from the dealer.

From the Dealer perspective, there’s nothing worse than being bombarded with best price best price best price or as we like to say the best price brigade. If there is a genuine reason why the price should be negotiated because of some minor bodywork damage or something that wasn’t in the advert then a discount is totally understandable.

In our modern culture, however, there seems to be this expectation of discount straight away for no reason.

If you’re straightforward with us as a customer and you pay what we want, we will then return the favor by offering your good service with a decent warranty.

The less profit we have in the deal, the less money we have to spend on your vehicle when something goes wrong in 7 months time.
