Wild Theme is a fine example of the classic Hallberg Rassy range and, although only twenty nine feet in length, has lost none of the build quality that Hallberg Rassy is famous for. The internal joinery is in superb order. The saloon teak and holly sole boards appear to have been covered with carpets since new and are somewhat dirty but otherwise unmarked.

Accommodation
The accommodation is commodious and well thought out for a vessel of this size. The soft furnishings are of high quality, and the whole interior exudes a feeling of comfort and security. The accommodation comprises:

A V berth cabin forward with a centreline berth cushion to make a double berth.
A saloon with L-shaped seating to port and a single sofa to starboard, providing both a double and a single berth if required.
A very workable galley to port of the companionway with the navigation area opposite on the starboard side.
A further berth in the starboard quarter.

Equipment
Wild Theme is well equipped with:

A recent Garmin GPS MAP720 touch screen chart plotter and bulkhead compass.
A virtually new spray hood by Goacher Sales.
A yet to be used matching cockpit tent with windows and zipped access points, currently stowed within the quarter berth.
A manually pumped fresh water supply to both the galley and the heads, the latter being fitted with a Jabsco sea toilet.

Maintenance
The underwater sections were all copper coated some nine years ago and have been regularly maintained ever since. The vessel has been well maintained by the current, and very knowledgeable, owner. The some of the cockpit has recently been re-caulked.

A rare opportunity to acquire a unique vessel that has just been the subject of a major re-furbishment. This class was designed by Colin Chapman, when he owned Lotus Cars, and built at his JCL Marine yard in conjunction with Lancer Marine.
Interior Features

The internals are all new throughout the vessel and provide:

A comfortable double berth cabin forward
A spacious dining saloon that readily converts to a large double berth on the port side
Galley and heads opposite to starboard

The companionway steps lead up to the helm and deck saloon area with a wet bar extending across the aft end next to the cockpit access door.
Cockpit and Deck Saloon

The cockpit itself provides an extension to the deck saloon by dropping the window aft of the bar, thus allowing the bar and its facilities to be used from both the cockpit and deck saloon sides. A twelve month old full cockpit tent with large windows and zipped access points allows full usage of the cockpit even during periods of seriously bad weather.
Engine Room

The engine room is spacious, providing good all round access to the two Ford Mariner 120 hp engines. These are very recent replacements for the original engines and were professionally installed by Lancing Marine of Brighton. The engines are linked to two out drives, believed to be Mercruiser Alpha 1 gen 2 units.

The fuel and electrical systems are all new.

The Ronautica RO265 is surprisingly roomy for its length, having a wide beam, large open cockpit and good headroom down below. Designed as a family cruiser / weekender which is easily managed but with a good turn of speed, the RO265 could be an ideal choice as a first "big boat".

Construction:
GRP construction to hull and superstructure throughout with warm toned woodwork in the saloon and cabin. Fin keel (1.65m draft), spade rudder with tiller steering. The cockpit has a drop-down transom with swim ladder for ease of access.

Mechanicals:
Powered by a Volvo MD2010 with saildrive. 12V batteries charged via the engine and a solar charger. Shore power connection fitted.

Rigging and sails:
Fractional rigged Bermudan sloop with deck stepped alloy mast and spars and stainless wire standing rigging. Slab reefing Mainsail with Lazy Jack bag and roller furling Genoa.

Accommodation:
Surprisingly roomy accommodation for the length of boat. Berths for up to 6 with a V berth in the bow, large double berth in the stern and 2 single settee berths in the saloon. The saloon has a central dining table with 2 folding leaves and plenty of seating. The galley has a 2 burner gas hob, sink with pressurised hot water, cool box and storage. There is a separate heads compartment with sea toilet, holding tank, basin with showerhead style tap. The accommodation is enhanced by a full cockpit enclosure and the tiller steering leaves plenty of room for seating.
