Looking after the place you love visiting. 🌿

The Lake District is a special part of the world, and caring for our little corner of it is part of everyday life at Park Cliffe.

These solar panels are one way we’re doing that. We installed 100kW of solar power in 2023, adding another 13kW in 2024 to help power the park with renewable energy.

Around the park, you’ll also find free drinking water refills and recycling facilities to make greener choices a little easier during your stay. Behind the scenes, we even use water from the beck to flush the toilets in our facilities block!

There’s always more we can do, and we’re continuing to make changes that help us look after these surroundings for the years ahead. 💚

Been coming to the Lakes for years and always wished you had a place of your own here? 🌿

Perhaps Park Cliffe already holds some of your favourite holiday memories, or you’re just starting to imagine what owning a holiday home in the Lake District could look like.

We currently have a selection of static caravans for sale, giving you your own familiar base for weekends away and longer holidays near Windermere.

With beautiful views and countryside all around, there’s plenty to tempt you outdoors. Back on the park, our handy shop makes picking up the essentials easy, while the Fellside Bar and food from the River Box Kitchen give you even more reason to settle in and enjoy your time here. The brand-new Swift Provence Outlook has arrived to Park Cliffe! With two bedrooms and a practical entrance hallway for outdoor gear, it’s designed for settling in after time out in the Lakes.

There’s an integrated slimline dishwasher, too. Handy when another walk is calling.

For everyone who packs a book for a weekend away and hopes to actually read it…📚

Our Shepherd’s Hut is made for taking your time. Settle into the sofa after a walk, put the kettle on and let the underfloor heating do its thing.

It sleeps two, with a made-up double bed and a little balcony for a breath of fresh air. A rather lovely place to lose track of the page count.

The hut is pet-free; please bring your own towels.
