Audi A8 in last week with a failed crankshaft pulley 🚙🔧

The old pulley wasn't coming off without a fight – all 8 bolts were rusted in and seized solid.

A bit of time, patience and the right tools got the job done. New crankshaft pulley fitted, everything back together and running as it should.

Another close call caught just in time! 🚙🔧

We had this VW Golf in today with a failed water pump, but once we stripped it down we discovered something much more serious... one of the old cambelts was badly worn and looked like it could have failed at any moment 😳

If a cambelt snaps, the damage can be catastrophic for the engine, so our customer was extremely lucky we caught it when we did.

New water pump fitted
Both cambelts replaced
Engine saved from major damage
One very happy customer back on the road!

If your vehicle is due a cambelt change, don’t leave it too late - prevention is always cheaper than repair.

Porsche 911 Carrera 4 GTS in Dunford's on Friday 😍

Customer complaint: suspension levelling issue.

Checked over, no mechanical faults found. Car just needed a control unit software update and calibration. Reset the system, re-levelled the suspension, job done 💪🏼

Another bodywork job in the garage this week, this time on a Toyota Yaris.

Damage was focused on the rear bumper and front wing, both repaired and prepped back to shape before refinishing. To ensure a perfect colour match, we carried out blending into the adjacent panels, giving it that seamless finish.

VW Golf – body repair & paint 🔧🚙

This VW Golf came in with damage to the front wing, rear wing, and door area.

Repairs carried out including prep, filling, and careful sanding to get all panels straight before primer. Once prepped, the areas were primed, painted, and blended to match the existing colour across the panels.

That's how we do things, a clean, solid repair with a consistent finish across the vehicle.

Gearbox Rebuild Complete – Classic Porsche 911 (1974) 🔧

Helping get another iconic car back on the road! This time, we had the pleasure of carrying out a full gearbox rebuild on a stunning 1974 Porsche 911.

During strip-down, common wear items such as synchro rings and bearings were carefully inspected and replaced where needed to restore smooth, precise gear changes.

We love to work on such a legendary car and help preserve a piece of automotive history.

Had this Ford Transit Custom in for some work down the driver’s side – bit of repair and paint, all blended back in so you’d never know it was there.
