You may have heard of us before, however due to re development of our old site in Colden Common we have decided that it is time for the Dunford's company to re-brand, relocate and refresh. We are now located just a stones throw away in Twyford. Our new address is Dunfords Garage, 16a Humphrey Farms, Hazeley Road, Wi******er, SO21 1QA. Dunford's Garage is one of the leading garages in the South of England, we cover all of your car, van and motorcycle needs. Whether it's servicing and repairs, or cosmetics and body work, we will ensure a highly professional service as well as a quick and smooth turn around. We also specialise in Classic Car restoration; when our new website goes live there will be a whole Jensen Department just for that! Here at Dunford's we have a fleet of recovery vehicles allowing us to provide a recovery service for Cars, Motorcycles and Light Commercial Vehicles. 🔹 Driver / General Workshop Assistant – Minimum 16 hours per week, paid at minimum wage. Must have a full, clean driving licence to help with customer car collections and drop-offs, as well as picking up parts.

Another busy week at Dunford's! 🚙

Everyone keeps asking us...

"How are you coping with the heatwave?"

The honest answer?

We're not. 😂

Whether it's 5°C or 35°C, the job still needs doing. So while everyone else is looking for shade, we're keeping our heads down to get our customers' cars repaired and back where they belong.

We're keeping the water cold, the workshop moving, and doing what we do best, getting cars back on the road. 💪

Audi A8 in last week with a failed crankshaft pulley 🚙🔧

The old pulley wasn't coming off without a fight – all 8 bolts were rusted in and seized solid.

A bit of time, patience and the right tools got the job done. New crankshaft pulley fitted, everything back together and running as it should.

Another close call caught just in time! 🚙🔧

We had this VW Golf in today with a failed water pump, but once we stripped it down we discovered something much more serious... one of the old cambelts was badly worn and looked like it could have failed at any moment 😳

If a cambelt snaps, the damage can be catastrophic for the engine, so our customer was extremely lucky we caught it when we did.

New water pump fitted
Both cambelts replaced
Engine saved from major damage
One very happy customer back on the road!

If your vehicle is due a cambelt change, don’t leave it too late - prevention is always cheaper than repair.

Customer complaint: suspension levelling issue.

Checked over, no mechanical faults found. Car just needed a control unit software update and calibration. Reset the system, re-levelled the suspension, job done 💪🏼

This week’s repair on a Toyota Yaris 🚙🔧

Another bodywork job in the garage this week, this time on a Toyota Yaris.

Damage was focused on the rear bumper and front wing, both repaired and prepped back to shape before refinishing. To ensure a perfect colour match, we carried out blending into the adjacent panels, giving it that seamless finish.
