📌 How To Adjust Your Mirrors to Avoid Blind Spots:
Properly adjusting your car mirrors is crucial for minimizing blind spots and ensuring safety while driving. Here's how to adjust them:
1. Side Mirrors: Sit in your normal driving position. Adjust the left mirror so you can barely see the edge of your car on the inside edge of the mirror. For the right mirror, do the same on the passenger side. This widens your field of view and reduces overlap with the rearview mirror.
2. Rearview Mirror: Position it to provide a clear view of the road directly behind you. Ensure you can see as much of the back windshield as possible without moving your head.
3. Check Blind Spots: Even with properly adjusted mirrors, always glance over your shoulder before changing lanes to account for any remaining blind spots.
By aligning your mirrors correctly, you improve situational awareness, enhance safety, and reduce the risk of accidents caused by unseen vehicles.
