Due to a technical issue affecting our car wash late last night and during the first half of today, some customers may have made a payment but not received the service.

Anyone affected will be automatically refunded for those payments, so there is no need to contact us.

We apologise for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.

💧 HOSEPIPE BAN UPDATE 💧

With new hosepipe restrictions coming into force across the Wessex Water region, we’d like to reassure customers that all Smart Auto Spa locations will remain OPEN AS USUAL. 🚗✨

As a fully compliant commercial car wash operator, our sites are permitted to continue operating during the restrictions. Therefore, our Wincanton, Blandford Forum and Gillingham locations will not be affected.

Our Shepton Mallet site is supplied by Bristol Water, where there is currently no hosepipe ban in place, and it will also remain open as usual.

So, while customers in affected areas may not be able to wash their cars using a hosepipe at home, you can still visit Smart Auto Spa and keep your vehicle looking its best!

🚨 WE’RE HIRING – MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

Due to the continued growth of Smart Auto Spa, we’re looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join our team and help maintain our expanding network of premium self-service car wash sites across Dorset and Somerset.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for a motivated, practical person who enjoys working with their hands, solving problems and takes genuine pride in their work.

If you enjoy variety, travelling between sites and tackling everyday maintenance tasks, this could be the perfect role for you.

No two days are the same. You’ll be working across multiple Smart Auto Spa locations, carrying out preventative maintenance, fault finding, routine servicing and helping keep our premium facilities operating to the highest standard.

The role includes inspecting equipment, replacing consumable parts, carrying out routine servicing, checking pumps and plumbing systems, maintaining vacuum equipment, and carrying out general site maintenance and housekeeping to ensure every Smart Auto Spa site remains clean, safe and operating to the highest standard.

You don’t need previous car wash experience – full training will be provided.

Previous experience in mechanical, plumbing, engineering, vehicle maintenance or similar hands-on maintenance roles would be an advantage.

Whether you’ve worked as a mechanic, plumber, maintenance operative, fitter, agricultural engineer or in another practical hands-on role, we’d love to hear from you.

We’re looking for someone who’s practical, reliable, confident using everyday hand tools, takes pride in their work and enjoys working independently while maintaining high standards.
