Busy week here at Tomes, replacing rotten panels on 3 different Ifor horse trailers, routine services and an absolute treat being up close to this big stag when he wandered into the yard whilst servicing, what a great experience!

ATTENTION: Servicing History Clarification

We’d like to share something that was brought to our attention today.

If a seller states that their trailer has previously been serviced by Tomes Trailers, please ensure they give permission for us to share those service details with you. In this recent case, the seller kindly gave permission to a potential buyer and we were able to check our records.

The potential buyer was informed that we had serviced an Ifor HB505 trailer in February 2025. This is incorrect. The only time we had ever serviced this particular trailer was three years ago, in 2023. An appointment was booked for February 2026, but it was later cancelled.

This is NOT a criticism of the seller, they did the right thing by allowing the potential buyer access to information — we appreciate that dates can easily be forgotten or mixed up. However, it’s important to us that any service dates attributed to our business are accurate, as incorrect information can reflect poorly on us.

Thanks for reading, Jason & Helen

This well loved and used trailer has had new panels and coupling unit making it safe for the horses and students @ The Fortune Centre, we’re so pleased they love its re-vamp for many more adventures

Thank you to Tomes Trailers for going above and beyond fixing our trailer last week. They did a great job. Generosity like theirs helps to keep us on the road giving our students and horses the life experiences that enritch their learning.
