🎉 First Time Pass for Shane Joel (SJ)! 🎉

A huge congratulations to Shane Joel (SJ), who passed his driving test on his first attempt with just 3 driving faults — a fantastic achievement! 👏🚗

SJ began his driving journey with instructor Tony in October, but sensibly took a break from lessons to focus on his A-levels. After restarting his lessons just last month, he quickly got back into the swing of things and rewarded himself with a brilliant first-time pass on Monday. 🌟

Instructor Tony said it's been a pleasure helping SJ on his driving journey and is delighted to see all his hard work pay off with such a well-deserved result.

🎉 Congratulations to Andrej! 🎉🚗

A huge well done to Andrej, who passed his driving test today with just 4 driving faults — a fantastic achievement! 👏

After months of hard work, dedication and the small challenge of listening to instructor Mark ask, "What can you see developing?", "What's your plan?" and "What do you think that driver's about to do?" approximately 47,000 times... Andrej has finally made it through! 😂

There was even an extra challenge during the test when a badly parked vehicle near the test centre added a little unnecessary excitement, but Andrej kept his cool, showed the examiner what he'd learned and produced a well-deserved pass. 🌟

Mark said he's incredibly proud of the effort Andrej has put in throughout his lessons. All that hard work has paid off, opening up new job opportunities and the freedom that comes with having a full driving licence. 🚗

We've also heard a little rumour that Andrej's girlfriend is thinking about learning to drive too... so she may soon find herself answering, "What can you see developing?" and "What's your plan?" a few thousand times as well! 😄

A huge congratulations to Stella on passing her driving test first time today at Dorchester Test Centre with just a handful of driving faults! 🎉🚗

Originally from Shanghai and now living in Weymouth, Stella had plenty of new challenges to overcome – from much narrower roads and cars parked along almost every street to, of course, those famous British roundabouts!

Showing that it's never too late to learn a new skill, Stella has achieved this fantastic result with determination and a positive attitude. She booked her semi-intensive course with Ruedi back in March, and he arranged everything from the lessons to securing the driving test, making sure she had the right amount of tuition beforehand.

Ruedi would also like to say a special thank you to Stella for the delicious oat cappuccinos and snacks during the lesson breaks – they certainly made the days even more enjoyable! ☕😊

🎉 Welcome to Our Newest Fully Qualified Instructor – Irene! 🎉

A huge congratulations to Irene, who has successfully passed her ADI Part 3 qualifying exam and is now a fully qualified driving instructor! 👏🚗

Irene's journey is a fantastic example of determination and resilience. After an unsuccessful first attempt at qualifying with another driving school, she refused to give up on her ambition of becoming a driving instructor.

Having heard about the reputation of our legendary instructor trainer, Pete Wilkinson, Irene decided to give it another go with YES! Driving School. Through hard work, honest self-reflection and a real willingness to learn, she passed her Part 3 on her very first attempt with us — and with a comfortable margin too! 🌟

Originally from the beautiful Canary Islands, Irene is passionate about helping people become safe, confident drivers. She believes lessons should be calm, friendly and enjoyable, creating an atmosphere where learners feel comfortable asking questions, learning from mistakes and progressing at their own pace. 🎉 First Time Pass for Izzy! 🎉

A huge congratulations to Izzy from Wimborne, who passed her driving test today on her first attempt with just 4 driving faults — a fantastic achievement! 👏🚗

Around four months ago, Izzy's dad got in touch with us looking for a bit of extra help. Izzy was feeling understandably anxious about driving and particularly struggled with gears, so instructor Ruedi put together a plan: an assessment lesson, a tailored programme of lessons and a suitable driving test at just the right time.

The plan couldn't have worked out much better! 😊 Despite a restless night's sleep because of test nerves, Izzy kept her composure and produced a great drive to earn a well-deserved first-time pass.

And yes... she absolutely nailed her reverse parking at the end too. That's the parking you can see in the photo — spot on! 😄👌

The best moment came on the journey home when Izzy smiled and said, "It was over much quicker and not as bad as I thought it would be!" 😀

Today was finally Shalu's day! 👏

After learning to drive in the past without quite reaching the finish line, she joined instructor Mark – and together they got the job done in style! Shalu passed her driving test first time with Mark, picking up just 1 driving fault… one that we're all still giving the side-eye! 🤨😂

Shalu works with people affected by cancer, doing an incredible job every day, so it's especially nice to see someone who gives so much to others enjoy such a well-deserved success herself. ❤️

Passing her test will make a huge difference to everyday life – from getting the children to school and making family life easier, to opening up new opportunities with work and a future house move. 🚗✨

Harriet spends her days teaching 14–16-year-olds at school, so you might think a driving test would be a walk in the park… but even the best teachers get a few exam nerves! 😂
