Seized nuts and bolts are the toughest challenge during car repairs.

It was painful working on this Nissan Stagea, suffered corrosion from winter road salts. We carried the work with blood, sweat and tears.

Finally, we are 90% completed and waiting for final check and fluid replacement, before we can renew MOT.

The drive shaft and bearings were worn and seized , with no brakes - now refeshed with Genuine Nissan parts from Japan.

All parts precisely replaced and tested.

Look! A wild Honda Civic SiR (EG6) appeared at our workshop today!

B16 VTEC DOHC engine, we recorded the engine started noise as its playing a great tune on start up, just like Initial D animation.

The low sitting position does not exist anymore for by modern so called hatchback.

This civic used to be everywhere on the street but most of them rusted away, this particular has been preserved, great work servicing and keeping it in good shape.

We were distracted by this Civic. See you again soon!

Today, we collected a FJ cruiser with customer at the terminal today.

We were excited to see this FJ cruiser, experienced the dusts and odour from Japan.

Low mileage in good condition.

Review: Accelera 651 Sport semi slick tyres

Nothing as sticky as the Michelin Pilot Sport Cup2, we tested previously on our 128ti at the Nurburgring, of course the tests were based on difference car, so we can't compare honestly.

However the tyres managed to last for the entire evening sessions, with roughly 70% of tyre life remains, we don't see any streading rubber, in my opinion, that is pretty good for its price when compared using Bridgeston T005 normal tyres last year.

Its definitely quicker as almost half of the circuit became no brake zone.
We were having 29PSI hot pressure at the front, instead we should try 35PSI hot pressure next time, the sidewalls were giving up.

We didn't use 100% of the front tyres, we need more camber angle.
Its Cadwell Park Circuit, so lack of horsepower is not too embarrassing, we were a lot quicker than most of the cars in the tight corners, forget about corner exit speed, we enjoyed very much diving in with super late braking.

Our DPF is now more efficient after the race, so we suggest taking it once a month.
We paid 18L of diesel only for the session, saved cost for an Italian dinner after the sport.

Lets do it again.

Bespoke engine oil blend - Castrol 5W-30 LL x Carlube FS 5W-40

No problem. As requested, we measured the level carefully, together with customer, we followed the recipe and produced the signature blend for this Kia Rio.

Everyone else also producing their signature blend for engine oil?

Today, we have successfully started the Ford Kuga, which was unfortunately vandalised and almost got stolen last week.

Thank you to the team in Bedford, and resolved the issue.

We managed to covered the extra miles, for the result.
