Toyota Hiace Super Custom Living Saloon EX '01

This nostalgic JDM-exclusive MPV represents the pinnacle of 90s/00s Japanese build quality. Once a common sight across Japan and Asia, these incredibly vans are now being exported and highly demanded after worldwide.

This specific model features full-time 4WD, a unique four-sunroof configuration, and a luxurious cabin finished in premium suede-textured upholstery with matching door panels.

Our team was delighted to help rust proofing this classic by performing a comprehensive vehicle health check, applying a full anti-rust treatment to protect the pristine undercarriage, and upgrading the original JDM head unit to a modern CarPlay audio system.

Our brother, previously our first mechanic, visited us on Bank Holiday for a tyre change.
Despite this is a complimentary service, we perfectly balanced the tyres to "0" counter weight.

Without Joseph today, Kent completed the Hiace anti-rust treatment, followed with the tyre change.

Land Rover Defender '93

Electric window conversion and repair.

This Defender was fitted with a cable push type electric window conversion kit, however the plastic tubes splited due to the inertia from the windows and rails.

We have tried searching for a better electric windows kit, but none available for pre-2002 model.

With limited resource, Sing has managed to re-enforced and existing design, added a bump stopper and resolved the problem.

It took us over 18 hours to redesign and re-enforce the design.

It is now tested and ready for handover.

After our first appointment, Kent went to Bedford Autodrome quickly to say hello, before returning to the workshop.

Volkswagen Scirocco 2.0 TDI '17

This unique 3-door hatchback perfectly combines style and practicality, staying true to the heritage of the traditional Scirocco body shape.

The owner brought it in with an overheating engine. After inspecting the cooling system and flushing the coolant, we found the problem - a failed water pump. The pump's internal shaft had completely snapped!

Since we already had everything taken apart, we went ahead and replaced the timing belt at the same time, perfect preventative maintenance.

A big thank you to the team for working together to get this sorted. The coolant temperature now sits perfectly at 90°C under all driving conditions.

Track Day Preparation and Report

* **Brembo X-Line Brake Pads**
The pads showed uneven wear and cracking after our last evening session at Cadwell Park Circuit, but we continued to use them today at Anglesey Circuit. We experienced slight brake fade after 10 qualifying laps, but performance returned to normal after one cooling lap. Kent recommends them!

* **Brake Fluid**
We swapped from Motul 660 to a standard DOT 4 fluid due to limited preparation time. The fluid boiled and caused brake fade after 10 laps, returning to normal after two cooling laps. We mixed in some Motul 660 this time, but a full system flush is absolutely required before the next event.

* **Febi Brake Discs**
These performed really well. Despite slamming on the brakes hard, there is no scoring or pitting on the discs. Great stuff.

* **Accelera Semi-Slick Tyres**
These are now 90% worn after two track day sessions. There is uneven wear in the middle grooves; the shoulders are fine, but grip has dropped off dramatically. They cannot be used for the next session.

* **Engine Oil**
An oil change is definitely due now, and the system needs a flush. We used Napa (bottled by Valvoline) 5W-30. It isn't the top tier, but it did the job—especially considering how warm it was this afternoon!

* **Mini One D**
The chassis is still holding up well. Unfortunately, the clutch is wearing out. It isn't slipping yet, but it will be worth upgrading to a single-mass flywheel and clutch kit soon.

Today, Kent went to Anglesey Circuit to keep up with our passion toward our brand and vision.

We are using our dirty diesel Mini One D and having plenty of fun throwing it into corners.
